Mar 4 - 9:45 a.m., Caller requested to speak with an officer regarding fuel that was possibly being stolen from the residence of Sixth Ave. Extra patrols were requested in the area.

Mar 2 - 1:42 a.m., Cynthia Ogle was cited at Chamber for failure to carry proof of insurance and issued a verbal warning for failure to carry registration and tag light out. 6:43 p.m., Susan Mchone was issued a verbal warning while driving with no plate on Fourth Ave by Oriental Gardens for having the In Transit sticker not visible.

Feb 28 - 11:53 p.m., Brandon Obrikis was issued a verbal warning at Fourth and Jefferson for brake light out.

Feb 27 - 12:37 a.m., James Avery was arrested near the Wye on Seward Hwy for driving while intoxicated. Avery was incarcerated at the Seward Community Jail. 12:50 a.m., Deann Corbin was cited at the intersection of Third Ave and Adams for failure to stop at stop sign and issued a verbal warning for failure to carry operator’s license on person. 1:05 a.m., Steven Houck was arrested on Seward Hwy and Hemlock for driving under the influence. 1:18 a.m., Christine Carver was cited at Jefferson and Third for failure to carry proof of insurance and verbal warning for failure to stop at stop sign. 1:48 a.m., John Heise was issued a verbal warningat 301 Third Ave for failure to stop at stop sign. 2:25 p.m., Rose Macswain was issued a verbal warning at Sixth and Adams for failure to maintain lane. 9:48 p.m., Tara Sweeney was issued a verbal warning by Safeway for speeding.

Feb 26 - 3:42 p.m., Ambulance requested at Birch St. for a female who fell off a ladder and hit her head. Patient was bleeding from the temple area. While en route to the hospital, the patient became belligerent and accused the ambulance responder of touching her inappropriately and she wanted to go home. Ambulance requested an officer to respond. Police arrived and the patient was turned over to the officer and was returned to her residence. 4:10 p.m., Subject came in to the police department advising that Aidan Richardson was harassing her. Officers responded to Bayview Apts to speak with Richardson and Nicholas Mruzik, advising both parties not to talk with each other. 9:59 p.m., Adrienne Moretti was issued verbal warnings at Seward and Airport for headlight and not carrying operator’s license on person. 11:18 p.m., Randy Lee Nelson was cited at Third Ave for failure to stop at stop sign. 11:33 p.m., Warren Eugene Smith was issued a verbal warning at Monroe and Fifth Ave for headlight. 11:52 p.m., Kristen Steinmetzer was issued a verbal warning at 325 Third Ave for crossing center line.

Feb 25 - 10:40 p.m., Dispatch received a 911 call from subject who advised that her neighbor in the Little Bear Mountain Apts had contacted her to call the police due to two men knocking on the door and she was afraid. Officer responded to the apartment and contacted Bryan Churchill, and Jonathan Cosio, who advised that they were trying to recover a cell phone from the previous night, and they thought that subject was the individual who had it. Following the above contact, at approximately 11:08 p.m., another subject from apartment stated that Cosio had threatened him because he had called the police. Officer returned to the area and advised all parties to return to their respective residences and to not have any further contact.

Feb 24 - 8:03 a.m., Elizabeth Grace was issued a verbal warning on Seward and Leire for headlight requirement.

Feb 16 - 12:31 a.m. Joseph Suddath, of Florida, was issued a verbal warning at Seward and Safeway for taillight and failure to carry registration. 12:41 a.m. A caller reported that the person was driving around with no headlights on in a gray Honda Accord with a ski rack on top and thought they may have been intoxicated. An officer responded and made contact with the driver at Seward and Sea Lion. Carmen Schultz was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and transported to Seward Community Jail. Schultz was issued a citation for insurance. An officer left the vehicle at Sea Lion and Dimond. 4:19 p.m. Joshanna Tuck was issued verbal warnings at Third Avenue and Port for speeding and seatbelt use.

Feb 15 - 5:36 p.m. Matthew Byars was issued a citation at Third Avenue by Sue’s Teriyaki for speeding. 9 p.m. Andrew Ferkinhoff was cited at the south 72 hour parking lot for speeding and issued verbal warnings for window tint and taillight requirements.

Feb 14 - 12:33 a.m. Kyle Lackey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Fourth Avenue and Railway. A friend moved the vehicle. 1:25 a.m. Michael Tritz was issued a verbal warning at South Harbor and Seward Highway for headlights. 4:39 a.m. Michael Buehrle was issued a verbal warning at Benny Benson Park for driving unsafely. 11:47 a.m. Alaska State Troopers requested agency assistance for a domestic disturbance on Bear Paw Drive. An officer responded to assist. Zoey Simpson was arrested and charged with domestic violence criminal mischief and incarcerated at Seward Community Jail. 11:22 p.m. Jerry Edwards was issued verbal warnings at Third and AVTEC for illegal U-turn and headlight out.
