SHS spikers to host 'Dig Pink,' Senior nights on Oct. 13-14

The Seward High School volleyball team will be staging a pair of important outings next week during their home games against Nikiski and Homer.

On October 13, the SHS girls will be playing a "Dig Pink" contest as a fundraiser to benefit breast cancer research. "Dig Pink" is a national breast cancer program. Seward will face Nikiski, beginning at 5 p.m.

On October 14, the Lady Seahawks will hold their Senior Night activities with a showdown against Homer. The game will start at 1 p.m.

Seniors to be honored include Jessi Hood, Randi Toalson and Maille Moriarty.
