Climate change workshop planned

A workshop to discuss and brainstorm what businesses and individuals can do to partner with organizations and inspire each other with ideas about positive actions, mitigations and adaptations to climate change is planned for Sept. 20.

Last June, the National Parks Conservation Association asked people to participate in a survey regarding their interest and knowledge of climate change. The purpose of the survey was to expand and improve climate change communication in and around national parks. The survey was answered by 47 business owners.

Discussion at the workshop will include the results of the survey.

The workshop is planned for 10 a.m.-3 p.m Sept. 20 and lunch will be provided. The hosts are NPCA, Kenai Fjords National Park and Preserve and the Seward Chamber of Commerce.

*Millions of people in the global scientific community don’t act like their kids are doomed as well. *Obama has not mentioned the crisis in the last two State of the Unions addresses. *Julian Assange is of course a climate change denier. *Occupywallstreet does not even mention CO2 in its list of demands because of the bank-funded carbon trading stock markets run by corporations.
