With just enough clouds to keep everyone guessing and a few April showers for May flowers, there was plenty of gusty sunny weather to go fly a kite in. Or wind surf Resurrection Bay, the waters of which are a balmy 44 degrees, up 4 degrees from the average for this time of year. Surface temperatures can peak as high as 60 degrees during August. Around the area temperatures above the water are predicted to peak in the upper 60s over the upcoming week, with sunny skies forecast for as far as the eye can see. Er, make that Tuesday.
