02:21 - Iditarod Campground host requested an officer to quiet campers who were being too loud. Officer responded and the campers were very quiet.
04:01 - Verbal warning for a headlight out issued on Seward Highway just north of Safeway.
06:43 - Ambulance requested to Phoenix Drive for a male having trouble breathing. SVAC and SVFD responded.
06:53 - Citation for Speed was issued to Douglas Smith on Seward Highway at Coolidge.
10:38 - Low tank alarm for Lowell Canyon. Public Works waste/water on-call advised.
12:50 - Individual reported that approximately 140 pounds of fish was stolen from the Air Force Rec Camp.
13:45 - Verbal warning for improper position of stop issued at the Train Wreck and Alameda.
14:14 - 911 abandoned call.
14:48 - Individual reported seeing two males in a Jeep Cherokee taking pictures of women in the harbor.
15:43 - Officer provided transport to PSMC to a female.
20:42 - SAST requested assistance on Nash Road for possible DV.
21:10 - Female reported smelling a strong odor of propane on Fourth near Chinook’s Restaurant.
22:02 - Citation for Headlight Requirements issued to Claire Bagniewski at the airport.
22:15 - Citation for No Proof of Insurance issued to Matthew Jewett at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
22:38 - Verbal warning for no headlights issued to THEBOO on Lowell Point Road.
22:53 - Verbal warning for headlights issued at Metco.
22:58 - Citation for Speed issued to Andrea Gutierres at Seward Highway and Hemlock.
23:50 - 911 call from Bayside Apartments. Officers determined it was civil issue.
00:35 - Individual from previous call was advised to call for a civil standby when she was ready to return and get the remainder of her property from the apartment.
03:16 - Caller requested assistance locating her sons, who she last saw at the Yukon Bar. She last heard from them around midnight, when they called and advised that they were at a gas station that sold hot food. Officer checked all areas with negative results. Both were wearing light colored baseball caps, blue jeans, one with a light blue long sleeve shirt, the other a plaid shirt, no jackets. As of 07:40 no further information. Officer advised for follow up.
04:06 - Transportation to Pacific Park given to an individual due to weather conditions.
05:23 - Caller advised that one of the campers at his area by the airport advised of a male with a beard who was wandering around. Officer checked the area, but was unable to locate anyone.
08:04 - Individual from Electric Department reported a break-in during the night at 501 Railway.
08:22 - Missing person from 03:16 call advised that he was fine.
08:45 - Second missing person called in and advised that he was fine.
09:56 - Officer from SVFD advised that a new key was placed in the lock box at the old sawmill.
09:59 - Individual from Breeze Inn Hotel requested an officer about a male who would not leave and had been asked several times to do so. Officer responded. An advisement was entered in APSIN to advise suspect the next time he is contacted that he is trespassed from all Breeze Inn properties.
10:12 - Individual reported her purse was lost. As reporting party was reporting her purse lost, the Chamber of Commerce reported the purse found.
12:07 - Individual reported from Homer that she lost her passport on Friday somewhere in Seward.
13:25 - Individual from Fish and Wildlife brought in a found red woman’s coat.
18:38 - Individual reported seeing a new tent, with no one in it, over by the waterfall. It looked like the tent was torn apart.
20:33 - Individual reported F/V Otter was sinking on T-dock.

01:45 - Individual reported a possible DV in progress in the 200 block of Bear Drive. Officers arrested John Young for DV Assault IV and Interfering with Report of DV, and transported him to SCJ.
02:38 - Individual reported a possible DV in progress next to Pacific Park Apartments. Officer contacted six subjects and all were given a disorderly conduct warning.
03:14 - Cheryl Mettler charged with DUI on Bear Drive. Mettler transported to SCJ and issued a summons.
04:30 - Ambulance requested to the airport to pick up LifeMed. SVAC dispatched.
05:53 - Verbal warning for lane usage issued at Mile 2 Seward Highway.
06:15 - Verbal warning for headlight out issued at the airport.
06:25 - Citation for Failure to Show Proof of Insurance issued to Benjamin Marshall. Also, Marshall was giving a verbal warning for speed.
06:25 - Individual requested to speak with an officer about harassment.
09:45 - Individual reported that her 4-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 5 year old at First Lake on Sunday.
10:11 - Individual reported that she had not heard from her daughter since July 20. Reporting party reported that both her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend were in Seward around that time.
19:17 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Chamber of Commerce.
00:12 - 911 caller reported a fight in progress between two males in the alley behind the Sea Bean. Officers made contact with one subject, but were unable to locate the other. Officer advised it was a verbal argument only.
02:00 - Night watchman at Seward Fisheries advised a former employee left Seward Fisheries in a vehicle and was intoxicated.
06:50 - Individual reported a blue Chrysler was speeding and passing people on Third going southbound.
07:28 - Warning issued for parking against flow of traffic in front of Hotel Edgewater.
11:22 - Several callers reported the electricity was out on Dairy Hill after hearing a loud boom. Electric department notified.
14:17 - Individual reported that a vehicle was being driven erratically and almost backed into someone. Officer contacted vehicle at Essential One and found operator to be driving fine.
14:29 - Verbal warning for illegal “U” turn issued at Fourth and Adams.
16:33 - Individual called on MPVFD radio channel and reported that she and another person had just taken keys away from a drunk male driver at Mile 23.5 Seward Highway. SAST notified. Trooper arrested William Chesley for felony DUI/DWLR/MVOL, and remanded him to SCJ.
17:56 - Individual from Seward Mountain Haven Lupine Lodge requested an ambulance for a female who was having panic attacks.
18:40 - 911 caller reported a boat fire in the SMIC yard. Per fire officer, any further calls to this boat would be toned out as the “Salvage Boat” and would be Code Yellow.
19:31 - Citation for Speed issued to Kurt Stump at Third and Van Buren.
19:50 - Individual from Seward Mountain Haven Lupine Lodge requested an ambulance for a male who was having heart problems.
19:57 - 911 misdial.
21:16 - SCJ jailer requested an ambulance to the jail for a male inmate having chest pains.
23:00 - Individual reported a motorized wheelchair driving down Bear Drive on the wrong side of the roadway with no lights or reflectors. Officer was unable to locate wheelchair.
06:21 - Verbal warning for speed issued on Seward Highway near Coolidge.
06:40 - Parking warning issued for parking against the flow of traffic and blocking a sidewalk and left on a vehicle across from the Hotel Seward.
09:00 - Individual turned in to SP an iPhone found in the First Lake picnic area. At 10:27 phone returned it the owner.
14:21 - Individual reported a bear getting into trash in the alleyway of Marathon Drive. The bear was gone upon officers’ arrival.
14:36 - Two 911 calls reported a possible suicidal person in the parking lot of Alaska SeaLife Center. Officer contacted subject and requested an ambulance. SVFD/SVAC dispatched.
19:56 - 911 misdial.
15:35 - Individual reported she lost her fanny pack lost in the Bear Creek area. A second individual reported that she found a fanny pack at Old Mill. First individual given second individual’s phone number.
16:00 - Individual from the parking authority turned in to SPD a found black Sony camera and small black case.
17:27 - Citation for Speed issued to Kathryn Shaughnessy at Third and A.
18:44 - Citation for Speed issued to Stefan Tutan at Mile 4 Nash Road.
19:00 - Individual turned in to SPD a black coat that was found next to the utilities counter.
19:13 - 911 open line call.
20:40 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Bear Drive for a male who was lying on the ground.
21:54 - Abandoned vehicle notice left on a vehicle on Levee Road.
22:00 - Verbal warning for speed issued on Seward Highway near airport.
22:06 - AST requested that a SPD officer go to approximately Mile 1 on Herman Leirer Road to check on an National Park Service officer out with a subject. The call was cancelled before the officer responded.
23:35 - Verbal warning for inoperative taillight issued at Third and Madison.
01:10 - 911 caller stated his wife got lost walking from the American Legion back to their campsite at Waterfront Campgrounds. She appeared at the site prior to officer’s arrival.
01:51 - Verbal warning for speed issued on Seward Highway near Coolidge.
01:59 - Verbal warning for headlight out issued on Seward Highway near Air Force Rec Camp.
08:51 - Citation for Speed issued to Danya Sbane at Fourth and Jefferson.
12:30 - Individual reported a little black bear on Fourth next to Cool Smokes.
13:31 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Third and B.
13:59 - Individual from Seward Bus reported a vehicle was parked in front of the Breeze Inn Restaurant’s no parking zone. Officer contacted registered owner outside Seward Plumbing and issued a verbal warning for parking in a no parking zone.
14:29 - Individual reported a 2-year-old child sleeping in a large white truck. Officer responded.
15:42 - Individual reported a bear in the 600 block of Second.
16:39 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Third and D.
16:56 - Citation for Speed issued to Amy Nordstrom in the 72-hour parking lot at South Harbor.
16:57 - Individual reported that he lost his gold wedding band at Saltwater Lodge.
17:18 - Written warning issued for abandoned vehicle and no camping at Fifth and B.
17:48 - Individual reported a black bear walking through the alley of Wells Fargo then headed toward the baseball field.
18:16 - Individual reported a small black bear at the Williams Campground eating peanut butter.
18:49 - Fire officer reported heavy black smoke at SMIC harbor from same vessel as before.
19:13 - Off duty officer reported a black bear at Third and Washington that almost entered the Yukon Bar.
19:33 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Third and D.
19:47 - SeaView crisis line requested that an officer do a welfare check. Officer transported the subject to PSMC because subject was unable to take care themselves.
20:33 - SAST requested assistance at the Pit Bar.
20:46 - SAST arrested Bethany Smith, Ian Holder at Kayla Minton at the Pit Bar for Drunk On License Premise and Disorderly Conduct.
21:20 - SCJ requested medics to the jail for a male subject experiencing numbness on his left side.
23:32 - Citation for Brake Lights issued to Lynda Dale at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
23:55 - Individual requested an ambulance for his son who was having trouble breathing/wheezing.

02:16 - Citation for Taillight Out issued to Ashley Campbell on Seward Highway near Sea Lion.
02:20 - Citation for No Proof Of Insurance issued to Evan Pullins at Mile 2 Seward Highway.
07:01 - Citation for Failure To Carry Proof Of Insurance issued to Kyle Vance on Third near C. Verbal warning for speed also issued.
09:20 - Hotel Seward requested that an officer speak with a guest who was bothering another guest. Officer made contact with guests.
10:31 - Guardian Security reported a fire alarm at Exit Glacier Lodge on Herman Leirer Road. BCVFD/SVAC dispatched.
11:52 - Boat at SMIC was seen producing dark gray smoke. It was the same boat as the previous night. Fire officers advised. Fire officer advised there was light smoke from the middle of boat and was contained in the vessel. No response at the time but keeping watch on SMIC Cam.
13:45 - Individual spoke to an officer about the theft of $500 cash from her purse in a vehicle during the night.
16:56 - Report of two intoxicated males walking down the middle of the road. Officer contacted individuals they were given a ride to Tressler Road.
17:06 - Individual reported having a bike stolen from Safeway.
17:53 - Individual reported that her daughter bumped another vehicle in the Kenai Fjords parking lot. She was leaving information on vehicle.
18:45 - 911 hang up call.
18:50 - Individual reported that F/V Tia Rose was coming in to the harbor and was taking on water. Requested to have harbor lift the boat once it was at the docks.
19:12 - Individual requested a welfare check on friend they had not heard from in two weeks.
20:03 - Individual reported a subject had entered the Van Gilder Hotel and was making threatening comments.
21:00 - Citation for Parking In The No Parking Zone issued to Alaska Rent a Car in front of Christo’s.
23:02 - Two 911 misdials.
01:30 - AST arrested Jerome Mahiai for DUI on the Seward Highway near Sea Lion. He was transported to SCJ.
03:10 - AST requested that an SPD officer respond to assist with a disturbance on Romack Court. Officer responded. All was OK and the male was transported by AST to a relative’s home for the night.
05:40 - After learning the house in the previous call had been vandalized, AST and SPD responded back to Romack Court. Floyd Hamrick and Agrafenia Pletnikoff were arrested for DV and Criminal Mischief III, and transported to SCJ.
09:19 - Individual from the Breeze Inn Hotel requested to speak to an officer regarding a female that they would like trespassed from the Breeze Inn property. Officer contacted the subject at her residence and advised her that she had been criminally trespassed from the Breeze Inn Hotel and Annex indefinitely, but not the restaurant. Officer also gave her a verbal warning to cease harassing communications to employees of the hotel.
12:22 - 911 caller reported that there was a small black bear in Forest Acres Campground wandering through campsites and campers were getting nervous. The bear was no longer in the area when officer arrived.
13:24 - USCG officer called to pass on that a boat had reported a fire onshore in the Thumb Cove area. The boat stated that it was possibly on private property and didn’t have details on what was burning. SAST advised. SAST called back at 13:54 to advise that the Forest Service had made contact with the owner of the property and that it was a controlled burn of a slash pile.
13:30 - Individual reported that a female was in his residence without his permission and in violation of a protective order that he has against her. Officer responded and met with the reporting party. The female was arrested and transported to SCJ for violation of the domestic violence restraining order.
13:50 - Caller from the Breeze Inn Hotel reported that Jonathan Cosio had been criminally trespassed from the property indefinitely and was currently in the upstairs lobby at the hotel. A check of APSIN revealed that Cosio had not yet been advised of the trespass. Officer responded and advised Cosio that he was criminally trespassed from all Breeze Inn property indefinitely.
15:06 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Third for an male who was having difficulty breathing, tightness in his chest, was very pale, not completely coherent, chilled and shaking. SVAC and SVFD dispatched.
15:41 - MPVFD called to report that the state communication site in Moose Pass on Seward Highway had been running on its emergency generator since early that morning and he wasn’t sure if anyone knew. SAST advised.
16:03 - Individual reported he was being held against his will at Raven House and wanted to speak to an officer. Officer spoke with RN who stated reporting party had been at the home for over a year and is unable to take care of himself.
21:16 - Individual reported there were six to eight youth up the hill at First Lake, being loud and possibly drinking. Officers contacted five juveniles who had been consuming alcohol. Juveniles were arrested for Minor Consuming and released to their parents. Ambulance requested for an intoxicated individual who was passed out. SVAC/SVFD dispatched.
