Icicle Seafood offers KPC scholarships

 


Icicle Seafoods has made available scholarship funds for students to enroll in Kenai Peninsula College courses.

The Seward Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, GED holders or students already attending college, or those who show Ability to Benefit based on placement scores. College students must be carrying at least a 2.0 grade point average. First time freshman may use their high school transcript or GED to satisfy the 2.0 requirement. Preference is given to applicants who provide proof of residence in the greater Seward area. The scholarship may be used to pay for face-to face and distance-delivered courses from any KPC.

The Icicle Seafoods Endowed KPC Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, GED holders or students already attending college, or must show Ability to Benefit based on placement scores. College students must be carrying at least a 2.0 GPA. First time freshman may use their high school transcript or GED to satisfy the 2.0 requirement. Preference will be given to applicants who provide proof of residence in the greater Homer or Seward areas. Admission to a degree program is not required to receive this scholarship. The scholarship may be used to pay for face-to-face and distance-delivered courses from any KPC campus. There is no minimum credit load. All eligible applicants will be considered.
