The following is from the journals of the Seward Police Department. Those who have been arrested or summoned are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Oct. 24

0339 - Harbor 360 Hotel reported that a woman had come in from outside saying she needed towels for someone that fell in the water at the Harbor. Officer responded and spoke to subject who stated that she saw a splash but not a person. Officer investigated the area and found no one in the water.

0350 - Officer requested that Public Works on call be notified that the streets were very icy and needed to be sanded. Public Works was notified.

0748 - RP advised that the intersection of Bear and Swetmann was slick. PW advised.

0810 - RP reported a two vehicle MVA-D at the Seward Resort. Officer responded and PAR Forms were issued. Officer advised that the accident occurred at Seward and Sea Lion.

0830 - Verbal warning given to SOLOMON DEMOSS while driving at Seward and Hemlock for speed.

0830 - 911 misdial from SCCC. Callback revealed all ok. AST advised.

0840 - 911 misdial from SCCC. Callback revealed all ok. AST advised.

1150 - Officer requested a case number for a red Ford pickup that was parked improperly at S 72 Hour Lot. Owner was advised.

1152 - FC with BCVFD advised a female slid off the road at Mile 5.5 Seward Highway and there were no injuries.

1750 - A citation was issued to TIMOTHY SHEARER for failure to carry proof of insurance, and verbal warning for driving without lights on in inclement conditions at Mile 1 Seward Highway.

Oct. 25

1409 - Citation issued to PAMELA WILHELMS while driving at Safeway for speed.

Oct. 26

0003 - GUARDIAN SECURITY advised of a burglary alarm at 3rd Ave, Napa. Officer found all doors secure. The alarm stopped on its own. The Officer remained on scene for a short time and no one associated with Napa responded.

0522 - 911 hangup received from (907) ******* at Adams St. Connected to a general message on callback. Officer searched the building and found no one in need of help.

0645 - RP advised of a rock slide on Lowell Point Rd. Street department on-call was advised and said they would contact the Harbor Department.

0819 - 911 Emergency Button in the Senior Center elevator was pressed. RP advised all was okay. Officer advised.

0924 - Verbal warning given to ROBERT ROBERTS while driving at 4th and Jefferson for speed.

0930 - RP reported his white 1997 Ford F350 flatbed truck stolen sometime last night at Resurrection Rentals. Vehicle entered stolen in APSIN/NCIC.

0940 - APD called advising that they found the vehicle and will contact the owner.

Oct. 27

0056 - Officer assisted two subjects in finding and retrieving their daughter.

0129 - 911 hangup received from (907) ******* near 4th Ave. Message left on callback. No sounds of distress.

0541 - 911 hangup received from (907) ******* at Adams St. Connected to a general message on callback. Officer advised.
