Ingalls places 7th at KPBSD Middle School championships

Hailey Ingalls turned in a stellar performance over the weekend at the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Cross-Country Championships. The Seward Middle School standout ran her way to a top-10 finish in the borough meet, which was held on October 7.

Ingalls paced the SMS girls’ squad by racing her way to seventh in the overall standings. She completed the course in a time of 13 minutes and 17 seconds. Kenai’s Leah Fallon and Logan Satawhite finished first and second, respectively, with times of 12:22 and 12:25. Homer’s Kaylin Anderson was third at 12:39.

Nikolaevsk’s Justin Trail won the KPBSD middle school boys’ crown by racing to a time of 11:48. Skyview’s Nate Johnson and Logan Shane were second and third, respectively.
