John Clinton Taylor Griffith, age 40, joined our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 2, 2017, in Homer. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, but residing in Huntsville, Texas, Clint was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Navy for 14 years, and served our country proudly. In 2013, he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. For five years he worked for Schlumberger, and recently was promoted to DPM-Field Specialist Supervisor. He enjoyed life through simple pleasures such as camping, fishing, hunting and shooting his guns. 

Clint is survived by his wife, Robin Griffith; grandmother, Rita Martin; mother and stepfather, Dianne and Greg Smith, father and stepmother, Randy and Patsy Griffith; brother and sister-in-law, Caine and Rhonda Griffith; sister and brother-in-law, Codi and Zach Ham; step-brothers, Dreux and Quincy Smith, step-sisters, Miranda Smith and Diana Lowry; eight nieces and seven nephews, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Lena and Richard Akkerman and brothers-n-law Dan and Chris Akkerman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, in Texas. For any further information, please contact his sister, Codi.
