City: Paving crews complete work on Swetmann and Sea Lion streets

August 24, 2017 | View PDF

People driving around Seward will notice some new blacktop in several parts of the city, especially around the school campuses.

According to the City of Seward, paving crews finished work on both Swetmann Avenue and Sea Lion Avenue on August 21, meaning parents transporting their children to the first day of school would find the roads passable. In addition to completing work on Swetmann from Bear Drive, and Sea Lion, KNIK crews were also completing upgrades on Dimond Boulevard.

Updates on road work progress are available on the main page of the City of Seward’s website, or by contacting the Public Works department at 224-4093.
