KPBSD OKs contracts for new teachers

 


Seward Middle School and Seward Elementary will each have a new member of the faculty when the 2017-2018 school year gets under way.

At its regular meeting on July 10, the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District approved the hiring of Clayton Ellsworth, who will be teaching science at Seward Middle School, and Cee Jay Levine, who will teach biology and music at Seward Elementary.

The two Seward hires were among 20 contracts extended to new teachers. Others are Efimia Basargin (Razdolna), Tina Hall (Nikiski), Brian Krauklis (Sterling), Dylan Langan (Homer Area), Johnathan Langner (Homer Middle), Sara Lucas (Kenai Middle), Sarah Miller (Montessori Charter), Marianne Mooney (West Homer), Kailey Mucha (K-Beach Elementary), Timothy Myers (McNeil Canyon Elementary), Rachel Pioch (Skyview), Antonina Reutov (Chapman), Megan Roy (Tustumena Elementary), Lou Ann Maria Santolupo (Fireweed Academy), Tracy Smith (Soldotna Elementary), Pavla Tyson (Nikolaevsk), Hayley Walters (Chapman) and Emily Wentzel Walle (Tustumena Elementary).
