Berry grabs ninth in Homer Spit Run


HOMER - Tannen Berry enjoyed a solid performance this past weekend while competing in the 2017 Homer Spit Run. The 21-year-old resident of Moose Pass finished in the top 10 in the 10-kilometer race, which was held Saturday.

Berry, who was competing in the 20-24 age division, finished ninth overall and completed the course in a time of 45 minutes and 52.94 seconds. The 6.1-mile course went from Homer High School to the Land’s End hotel on the end of the Homer Spit.
