BGCKP to hold youth basketball camp

Young basketball players from throughout the Kenai Peninsula will be able to brush up on their hardwood skills this weekend thanks to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Kenai Peninsula. The BGCKP will be holding a co-ed basketball camp on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7 at the AVTEC gym in Seward.

The camp, which is open to boys and girls in grades 3-6, are being offered free of charge. Prospective campers do not have to be members of the BGCKP to participate.

The camp will begin at 6 p.m. on Jan. 6 and run through 8 p.m. On Jan. 7, the camp will start at 10 a.m. and run through noon. Campers will be treated to a lunch following the completion of Saturday’s session.

The camp is being sponsored by Providence Seward Medical & Care Center and AVTEC.
