Spanos nets 2 medals at Seward Invitational

Connor Spanos enjoyed a brilliant outing at the 2016 Seward Invitational Swim Meet on Oct. 3 in front of the home fans. The Seward standout earned a pair of medals by placing in the top three in two separate events.

Spanos splashed his way to second in the boys’ 100 Butterfly race with a time of 1:01.09. Kenai’s Savaii Heaven won the race at 58.98.

Spanos also finished third in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:13.59.

Trapper Allen finished sixth in the boys’ 50 Freestyle.

In girls’ action, Meghan Mullaly and Lindy Guernsey places second and sixth, respectively, in the 100 Breaststroke. Mullaly was also fifth in the 100 Freestyle.

Megan Koster finished sixth in the 200 IM, while Hope Quinn was fifth in the 200 freestyle.
