Absentee voting now under way at city hall

Absentee In Person voting for the City of Seward and Kenai Peninsula Borough Municipal Elections began Monday, Sept. 19, in city hall. Voting is being done in the City Clerk’s Office on the first floor. Voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Oct. 3, 2016. Voters must bring a form of ID. Please use the Adams Street entrance to access the clerk’s office.

Handicapped voters, or anyone needing assistance, please contact the clerk’s office at 224-4046. There will be a curbside “doorbell” on Adams Street for handicap access (Ring the bell and assistance will be sent to help).

Everyone is eligible to vote Absentee In Person, so please feel free to stop by and cast your ballot!

Because City Hall is an official voting location, there will be no campaigning allowed within 200 feet of the building’s entrances. If anyone has questions about this or any other election concern, please contact the clerk’s office.
