Do you have a high tunnel? Sell the extras at a Farmers Market? Raise sheep, goats or cows for food? Have a peony or other farm?

The Alaska Crop Protection Pest Management Program is offering free site visits to assist with local residents with pest problems and offer Integrated Pest Management solutions.

Officials with the program are hoping to visit all the farms across the state in an effort to help growers - large and small - to recognize new pests coming in, and implement plans to help with the established pests, be they bug, disease or weeds.

For more information contact Janice Chumley at the UAF Cooperative Extension Service office in Soldotna at 907-262-5824 to schedule a visit this season or email jichumley@alaska.edu to be put on the Kenai Peninsula visit list.
