City council to vote on new flag recommendation at July 25 meeting

The City of Seward could move one step closer to an official flag at its July 25 meeting.

According to the agenda for Monday’s meeting, city leaders are scheduled to adopt a resolution designating the Seward Flag Committee’s recent recommendation of a student-created flag as the official standard.

The Seward Flag Committee spent months sorting through submissions from local students as part of a contest similar to the one used to select the state flag.

The complete agenda can be seen on Page 3.
