Soccer season winding down

Todd Brewer | For The LOG

The Seward High School Seahawk soccer squads took on the Nikiski Bulldogs Friday on their home turf. The boys team was overwhelmed in a topsy turvy contest that let the Bulldogs loose to close on their second victory for the season. The girls tied up the lady Bulldogs with one goal a piece to walk away with the tie. The next day, the boys team retired without a contest and the Seahawk girls were overwhelmed by the Wasilla Warriors in a non-league game. The SHS soccer team hosts its final games at home this weekend, facing Grace Christian with girls schedule for 3 p.m. and boys for 5 p.m. on Friday. Saturday they play Palmer with the girls on field at noon and the boys at 2 p.m.
