The Seward Invitational saw five track teams travel to Seward earlier this week. Zachary Martin ran third in the 100 and 400 meters at the Tuesday meet, Iris Anderson ran third in the 400 meters for the girls and Alice Pfeiffenberger came in first in the 1,600 meters. Michael Marshall ran the distance for the top spot in the 800 meters and Tannen Berry hurdled to first in those two events.

Howie Hubbard topped the rankings for the shot put and placed second in the discus. The Seward team pulled off a win in the short relay and Michael Moore soared to first in the high jump with Zachary Martin leaping to first in the triple jump. The Seahawks track team will be on the bus Friday for the Palmer invitational this week.
