Thank you

Letter to the Editor

“Are you kidding me?” exclaimed one of the last AARP Tax Services clients, as they learned that they would getting back money from the IRS, when all along they thought they were going to have to owe money.

Local AARP tax volunteers Nancy and Tom Osborne, Jim Herbert and Marilyn Burch provided income tax services to more than 250 Seward and Moose Pass families and individuals, with tax returns equaling more than $330,000. That means $330,000 back into the Seward economy! So if you are a business owner, politician and/or community member, next time you see these valuable community volunteers, extend your hand and thank them for their dedication of time and expertise, for the benefit of Seward and Moose Pass citizens.

From the Seward Senior Center, “Thank You!”
