Leon Youngblood | The Seward Phoenix LOG

Face painting and parachute play were a small sample of the fun had by youngsters of all ages at the annual Seward Spring Carnival on Saturday. Youthful cries and laughter filled the Alaska Railroad Seward Cruise Ship Terminal during the day long carnival. The event was organized by Seaview Services' DVSA program and the Seward Child Advocacy Center and sponsored by the Seward Police Department, Seward Senior Center, Alaska State Troopers, Qutekcak Native Tribe, American Legion Post 5, Resurrection Bay Lions Club, Early Infant Learning, Play and Chat, Bear Creek and Seward Fire Departments, Seward Library, TYC, Seward Parks and Rec, Breeze Inn Hotel, Dr. Moriarty, Pain in the Glass, On Time Maintenance and Construction, and Barbara Dieckgraeff.
