Leon Youngblood | The Seward Phoenix LOG

The Oceanfront Inn offers lodging on the beach and boasts that from your porch you can touch the sea. Gloria Sears is the proud proprietress of the accommodations in the heart of Seward’s downtown at 14150 Beach Drive. Open throughout all of Seward’s seasons. 491-0024.

One way to encourage a focus on repeat business by local customers is by encouraging the use of gifts cards. Finding ways to get gift cards and coupons into the pockets of travellers promotes Seward as a destination of choice. In more ways than one, gift cards and other inducements are the gift that keeps on giving.

Repeat business also comes from clearly stated operating hours. Retailers benefit by letting customers know that they’re open and when. Keeping consistent and reasonable hours along with advertising and promotion also helps when foot traffic drops after it gets uncomfortable to just stroll around.
