Carlile Transportation Local is an Alaskan trucking company specializing in Seward deliveries as well as moving freight between other Alaska locations as well as the lower 48 states. First Friday has been a vivid success, painting a picture of Seward’s creative community and bringing visitors and local patrons into shops around town. With the participation of local business, Seward artists and craftspersons have a venue to display the first fruits of the area’s collective imagination.

With the final First Friday of the season arriving next week, it’s time to take the year’s last stroll through the event which turns open businesses throughout Seward into an extensive art gallery. However, the focal point of the year’s exhibitions will be the 2013 Seward Music and Arts Festival, a three-day event beginning Sept. 27.
