At the 2013 Alaska Wind-Diesel Workshop, Marc Mueller-Stoffels from the Alaska Center for Energy & Power discusses the importance of accurate modeling of potential power generation and project costs in designing and implementing wind power projects. Moderated by Josh Craft of the Alaska Energy Authority, the session discussed best practices in designing wind power systems including modeling, logistics and environmental permitting. The two-day convergence of technical talent was sponsored by the Renewable Energy Alaska Project and hosted by AVTEC in Seward Feb. 14 and 15.
