Youngsters take their stamina and their will to the mat while practicing for the Native Youth Olympics at Seward Elementary. Starting with a little limbering up, soon the aspiring athletes are attempting gymnastic feats of contortion and concentration.

Youngsters take their stamina and their will to the mat while practicing for the Native Youth Olympics at Seward Elementary. Starting with a little limbering up, soon the aspiring athletes are attempting gymnastic feats of contortion and concentration. Students of all traditions may participate in the NYO Games; they need not be of Native descent. The NYO Senior Team tryouts for grades seven through 12 will be held at Clark Middle School in Anchorage April 6 and 7. Are you planning to post the results from the NYO competition. At least the results of the kids that competed from Seward. I have heard that they did quite well and I think that they should be mentioned. Thank you
