There’ll be none of that sycophantic jumping up on your jeans and the meowing is definitely way more subdued than some of those bow-wows in the next room. Nevertheless, passing through this gauntlet may prove difficult, as a cat will never ask when it can demand. Take these cats home or you’ll get on a list somewhere. Once they’ve seen you they know who you are.
