Poleske presented a short video on the history of the Iditarod, which he had narrated, an enlightening and entertaining 15 minute film. Seavey shared his history with the Iditarod Race and the adventures that began during his first race in 1973 and throughout his career on the trail until 2012, when the Historic Iditarod Trail Alliance sponsored his race to promote the centennial of the trail. Seavey visited towns and villages along the way to educate people about the history of the Iditarod trail.
