Eddie Athey, the Seward Fire Department’s assistant fire chief was elected president of the Alaska State Firefighters Association at its fall conference in Sitka recently.
Eddie Athey, the Seward Fire Department’s assistant fire chief was elected president of the Alaska State Firefighters Association at its fall conference in Sitka recently. Elections are conducted for the positions of President, 1st Vice, 2nd Vice and regional representatives on an alternating schedule to manage the business of the association, and to represent the almost 30 chapters around the state in issues facing Alaska’s fire service.
