Seahawk cross county boys team takes second at State

Last year’s first place title holder and two-time Junion Mount Marathon winner Miles Knotek took second place this year by a mere 100th of a second with a time of 16:56 minutes, with Arlen Mossgrove of Glennallen taking first place.
Matthew Moore to fourth with a time of 17:20 and Michael Marshall at 10th at 17:40.
The Boys Seahawk team took second overall. Team members were Miles Knotek, Matthew Moore, Michael Marshall, Tannen Berry, Brandon Moore, Keith Ivy and Paxson Berry.
The Seahawk Girls team took fourth at the state meet with Laura Dyer leading the team at 13th with a time of 21:17. Team members included Laura Dyer, Josephine Braun, Alice Pfeifienberger, Lindsey Kromrey, Brooke Estes, Emily Brockman and Laura Kromery.
