Seward Community Library

The Seward Community Library at 238 Fifth is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays, closed Sunday. In addition to books and recordings, the li-brary offers copying, fax, notary, passport, audio visual services and a meeting room. 224-4082.

Seward Senior Center

Seward Senior Center serves seniors, 60 and older, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays on the third floor at 336 Third with transportation available. Lunch is served each weekday at noon. Meals-on-Wheels is available. Weekly shopping trips are scheduled. Recreation and health activities are regularly scheduled, as well as, speakers and field trips. Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Seward is based out of Seward Elementary School on Sea Lion Drive, and offers programs and services for school-aged children. The program runs after school until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For information call program director Debbie Bond at 224-7001.
