Sept. 8
21:26 - Individual reported a red sailboat broke loose from the docks and was hitting other boats.
21:26 - Individual requested that the fire department respond to the Edgewater Inn for an electrical smell in the lobby/elevator area.
21:53 - Verbal warning for no lights on after dark issued at Third and Adams.
22:13 - Citations for brake lights, proof of insurance and license to be carried at all times issued to Cassandra Mackey at Resurrection and Swetmann.

Sept. 10
00:58 - Verbal warning for headlight issued.
06:23 - Individual went into SPD asking for assistance to get back to Kenai. Officer spoke with her. She was given information to contact SeaView Community Services.
07:10 - Caller spoke with an officer about a problem she was having with a subject where she had been staying. She was advised to call back later for a civil standby to collect her belongings from the residence.
08:12 - Verbal warning for taillight issued at Terry’s Tire.
11:49 - Burn permit issued to a site in the 2100 block of Dimond for the day only.
13:20 - Individual reported a black bear at Great Bear Circle that was heading towards the school.
13:50 - 911 caller reported loud music coming from behind Kimberly Court Apartments A Building.
14:41 - Individual reported a bullet went through his residence in the 200 block of Second. Officer responded and advised it looked more like it was from a sling shot.
16:55 - Officer contacted two subjects following a report that five people were drinking at or near the tunnel by Three Bears.
18:08 - Individual turned in a Wells Fargo Visa card that they found.
18:58 - Individual reported a black bear at the playground park area and children were around.
19:22 - Officers chased a bear toward the mountain after a report that it was in the alley by Bayview Apartments.
20:39 - Officer fired a cracker shell to scare a black bear away from the Army Rec Camp.
21:57 - Individual went into the SPD office to report a black bear in the police department parking lot.
22:15 - Parking warning issued at Third and Adams.
23:22 - Individual reported a black bear at Sixth and Adams.
Sept. 11
03:11 - Caller reported a bear was in the SeaLife Center parking lot. Second caller advised that it was in the alley between the libraries. Officer responded and the bear left the area.
05:07 - Individual reported that a subject was banging on her door and would not leave. Officer gave him disorderly conduct and trespass warnings for the rest of the night, and advised him not to drink anymore that night.
08:35 - Officer advised of a disabled school bus that was on Nash Road near the railroad crossing. Officer estimated that the bus would be moved in 30 minutes, and that the bus was clear of tracks.
09:07 - Individual reported someone shot at her apartment. Officer responded.
09:32 - Individual reported trash in the alley between 400 block of Fourth and Fifth. Officer issued a trash warning.
10:57 - Verbal warning for following too close issued at Seward Highway and South Harbor.
12:17 - Individual reported a small black bear in a backyard in the 400 block of Fourth. Officer used seal bomb to scare the bear off.
13:38 - Individual reported a black bear in the trash in the 500 block of Fifth and people were getting close to it. Officer issued trash warning and deployed cracker shell to scare off bear. Officer advised they got a report of an aggressive bear near Glacier View. Officer was unable to locate a bear in the area.
13:35 - PSMC requested an ambulance to pick up Guardian Flight Crew at the airport. SVAC dispatched.
14:50 - Individual reported his blue and white bike was stolen from in front of the Alehouse at about 02:00.
15:13 - 911 caller reported a black bear in the trash at Elm and Hemlock. Officer responded.
15:50 - Individual reported that a subject parked in his parking spot at Gateway Apartments.
16:44 - Christopher Campbell arrested on warrant for Domestic Violence Assault IV and Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief III (Felony).
18:35 - Individual reported a vehicle in the apartment parking lot on Madison between Fourth and Fifth was leaking oil. Officer informed the owner of the leak and to take care of it.
20:00 - Caller from the Holiday Inn Express reported they had the duffle bag reported missing on Aug. 25.
21:56 - Caller from Hotel Seward reported a black bear was up a tree.
22:42 - Earthquake, magnitude 4.0, reported 40.2 miles northwest of Homer at a depth of 47 mile. No tsunami was generated.
Sept. 12
08:11 - Officer responded to a request for a welfare check at AVTEC in reference to possible child endangerment with an AVTEC student.
11:48 - Individual turned in a found bike.
12:10 - Officer responded to a report of a black bear in the alley between Fourth and Fifth.
12:31 - 911 caller reported a black bear at the pavilion by the skate park. Officer responded.
12:40 - Individual advised of black bear around city hall. Officer was unable to locate the bear.
13:20 - Wells Fargo heard a loud bang outside in the alley at Third and D and thought it might be a motor vehicle accident. Officer made contact with two drivers involved in a minor accident.
13:20 - Information given to AST about a report that someone had used another person’s debit card.
14:57 - David W. Katongan arrested at AVTEC on an outstanding Anchorage warrant, state charge for sexual assault and sexual abuse of a minor. Bail $50,000 and court approved third party custodian.
15:40 - First National Bank requested an officer to trespass Charles Collins. Officer advised subject that he is trespassed from First National Bank indefinitely.
16:05 - SAST reported that a light gray BMW, southbound from the Moose Pass hatchery, was passing on blind corners and travelling in excess of 80 mph.
16:15 - Individual reported seeing several individuals going up towards the waterfall next to Pacific Park Apartments.
16:38 - SAST reported a motor vehicle accident at Mile 31 Seward Highway with unknown injuries.
18:00 - Alaska State Trooper arrested Tyler Wolfe for DUI at Mile 31 Seward Highway and transported him to SCJ.
18:05 - Individual reported a little black bear behind the Crab Pot headed towards Fourth.
18:20 - Individual requested that an officer to come to her residence in the 200 block of Second and talk to her kids after hearing the cracker shells that the officer just shot off. Officer spoke to the children.
20:43 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Seward Highway and Airport Road.
21:03 - 911 misdial.
21:38 - Several individuals reported an orange parachute flare in the Lowell Point area.
21:58 - Earthquake, magnitude 4.2, 60 miles west of Homer at a depth of 62 miles. No tsunami was expected.
