Climate change workshop planned by
National Parks Conservation Association

A workshop to discuss and brainstorm what businesses and individuals can do to partner with organizations and inspire each other with ideas about positive actions, mitigations and adaptations to climate change is planned for Sept. 20.

Last June, the National Parks Conservation Association asked people to participate in a survey regarding their interest and knowledge of climate change. The purpose of the survey was to expand and improve climate change communication in and around national parks. The survey was answered by 47 business owners.

Discussion at the workshop will include the results of the survey.

The workshop is planned for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 20 and lunch will be provided. The hosts are NPCA, Kenai Fjords National Park and Preserve and the Seward Chamber of Commerce.

To participate contact Lynn Grams at LynnGrams@CopperCenterAK.net.

Science says we are at the brink of no return from unstoppable warming yet they still will not say it WILL happen. WHEN WILL THEY SAY IT WILL HAPPEN? What does it take to make them say that the worst crisis imaginable WILL happen? Find us one single IPCC warning of crisis that isnt surrounded by maybes as in possibly and potentially etc. NEVER have they said it will happen, only might happen. Help my planet is on fire..........................maybe?
