21:58 - Citation issued for passing in a no passing zone issued to Johnathan Sparr at Mile 2 Seward Highway.
22:11 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Third and Monroe.
Aug. 18
00:08 - Yukon Bar requested an officer for a male refusing to leave. Officer contacted the subject and trespassed him from the bars for the remainder of the night. He left in a taxi.
00:26 - Seward Alehouse requested an officer for a male refusing to leave. Officer contacted the subject. He was trespassed from all bars for the remainder of the night and issued a disorderly conduct warning.
00:36 - Caller reported screaming heard outside the Edgewater Hotel in the alley. Officers contacted Lance Huber. Due to his being extremely intoxicated, he was transported to PSMC. Huber was on parole for Assault II and his parole officer requested that he be remanded. Once he was cleared from PSMC at 05:50, he was transported to SCJ.
09:11 - Individual from Polar Seafoods requested an officer’s assistance with an employee who was fired the previous night but was refusing to leave the premises. Officer responded and the subject was trespassed from all Polar Seafoods property indefinitely. Officer provided transportation for the subject to Murphy’s Motel.
12:13 - Burn permit issued for a property near the airport.
12:41 - 911 misdial.
13:14 - 911 caller reported that a white Dodge Journey passed him using the turning lane on his way into town. The vehicle was southbound on the Seward Highway near Bear Drive.
14:27 - Individual reported that two females were yelling and screaming at each other at the corner of Fourth and Washington. Officer responded but the females had left the area.
17:15 - Individual reported an unattended pit fire on the north end of Two Lakes Trail.
17:30 - 911 hang up call. Dispatch contacted caller on call back. Caller advised that she had been abused and wants someone to stop it. Officers advised.
17:50 - Individual reported that a vehicle was parked on Fourth across from the Fish House next to the fire lane. Officer found that it was a hospital vehicle and they were picking up several handicapped individuals to go to Seward Mountain Haven.
20:53 - Individual from Albuquerque, New Mexico requested a welfare check on female in Seward. The subject had called the reporting party and told her that she was having a reaction to her medication and was sitting in a box across from Peking Restaurant. Officer was unable to locate the subject. Dispatcher contacted Hotel Seward and found that the female checked out at around 13:00 that day. A message was left on subject’s phone to have her call SPD.
Aug. 19
01:49 - Individual requested an officer to Bayside Apartments. She was complaining of loud partying from the apartments. Officer responded and contacted a subject and issued her a disorderly conduct warning for the night.
02:08 - Individual reported a male in her yard looking through her windows on Phoenix. Officer searched the area, but was unable to locate the male.
11:00 - Individual from the harbormaster’s office called to report that they found a blue Lands’ End lunch pack containing food items, a check for $10 and unmarked pills. They also found a Visa card.
12:29 - Caller reported that the people in an apartment at Bayside Apartments were intoxicated and arguing loudly. They were also leaving open containers of alcohol on the stairs where her children could get to them. Officer issued a disorderly conduct warning.
12:48 - Citation for blocking the flow of traffic issued to Mary Sallee while parked in the 100 block of Fourth.
12:51 - Caller from the harbor office requested that an officer go to the harbor to speak with him about having a male subject trespassed from the harbor. Officer contacted Charles Collins and advised him that he was criminally trespassed from the harbormaster’s office indefinitely.
13:18 - Citation for parking where prohibited issued to Donald Creamer in the 200 block of Fourth.
14:00 - Individual turned in to SPD a small blue and black camera case that they found on Fourth near Adams.
14:02 - 911 hand up call.
15:50 - Individual reported that a man shot a gun at a black bear on Jesse Lee. Officer responded. The black bear was shot in defense of property by the resident. SAST notified to call a charity. SPD officer talked to Fish and Wildlife Trooper and was advised that since it was in defense of life and property, the resident would have to take care of the animal himself.
15:50 - Individual advised that there was a window break alarm at The Youth Center. Officer responded and advised that it was an open window. Parks and Rec director was called and would shut the window.
20:29 - Individual requested that a fire officer investigate a strange chemical substance at AVTEC auditorium.

04:32 - Parking warning issued in the 200 block of Fourth.
05:15 - Citation for passing in a no passing zone issued to James Grimm at Port Avenue.
06:15 - Verbal warning for headlight requirements issued at Chevron.
06:21 - Verbal warning for headlight requirements issued.
06:35 - Citation for taillight issued to Wayne Wark at Mile 1 Seward Highway.
09:14 - Alarm at Teen Youth Center reported by Guardian Security. Alarm showed as a window break alarm. Officer found the building and windows secure and intact. Message left for Parks and Rec.
09:22 - Individual from Alaska Department of Transportation advised that he found that runway lights on the river side had been smashed sometime during the night. Reporting party asked that officers keep an eye out for anyone in the area.
09:38 - Parks and Rec turned in to SPD a bike that had been left at the pavilion two days before.
12:25 - Ambulance requested to Cover to Cover books for a female who passed out. Subject refused treatment.
12:51 - Verbal warning for failure to stop at stop sign issued at Fourth and Jefferson.
17:42 - Citation for speed issued to Daniel Schaffer next to AVTEC.
18:08 - 911 caller from Seward Mountain Haven Eagle Lodge requested an ambulance to transport a male to the ER.
20:08 - Verbal warning for failure to stop at a stop sign issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
20:10 - PSMC ER requested an ambulance to transport a patient to Mountain Haven.
20:40 - Individual reported he lost his wallet around Three Bears. At 20:55 he reported he found his wallet.
21:03 - 911 caller reported smoke coming from the Two Lakes trailer area.

06:45 - Verbal warning for headlight issued in the alley between the libraries.
07:14 - Citation for headlight issued to Linda Lasota at Third and D.
07:30 - Verbal warning for parking lights issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
09:00 - SPD assisted with medications for destruction that were turned in.
10:04 - Lifeline requested an ambulance for a female who fell at a residence on Phoenix. SVFD/SVAC responded.
10:46 - SCCC was testing the alarms.
11:08 - Verbal warning for improper lane usage issued on Seward Highway by Essential One.
11:53 - Report received on a red Ford PK that left the area of Three Bears. Information given to AST
14:42 - Individual reported that a Dish Network account using his Social Security Number was started in North Carolina without his authorization. The account had been charged $834.83.
15:59 - Verbal warning for unsafe backing issued at the south harbor boat ramp.
18:51 - Citation for passing in a no passing zone issued to Zhag Yi next to the Holiday Inn.
20:03 - Individual reported a black lab running in and out of the roadway next to the airport.
20:57 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Fourth and D.

02:20 - Individual reported yelling and loud music coming from Bayside Apartments on Third. Officer contacted a subject and issued her a disorderly conduct warning for the night.
08:06 - Illegal camping reported on the property at the end of Dora Way. Reporting party advised that there was a travel trailer that appeared to have been there awhile. Community Development advised and checked. It was parked on private property.
08:19 - Yukon Fire would work testing the fire systems at city facilities during the day.
13:56 - Individual spoke with an officer about a burglary situation involving her apartment.
15:05 - Verbal warning issued for seatbelt requirements.
15:59 - Caller reported that a red/black mountain bike, that he had borrowed from a friend, was stolen from near Alaska Beads and Things in the 200 block of Fourth. He stated that the bike was locked, and that the lock had been broken and the bike stolen within the previous two days. He advised that he could not remember more details like the make/model of the bike.
16:23 - Caller reported that there was a group of people at the pavilion on the south end of the lagoon and it looked like they had made a fire but he was unsure.
16:32 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Bayside Apartments for a male who was having a seizure. SVAC and SVFD dispatched.
16:39 - Individual reported that when she pulled over to allow first responders with flashing blue lights go by, a blue van passed her using the turning lane.
17:38 - 911 open line call.
18:17 - 911 caller reported that his girlfriend called and harassed him multiple times throughout the day. Officer called him back and advised him that it was a civil matter.
19:08 - SAST called to request that medics be dispatched to a traffic stop at Mile 4 Seward Highway for the male driver and a trooper who both had lacerations caused by glass. SVAC and BCVFD dispatched.
20:36 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Third and A.
23:16 - Verbal warning for driving without headlights issued at Third and Dairy Hill.
23:26 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Seward Highway and Nash Road.
Aug. 23
02:52 - SAST reported a vehicle had just left the Pit Bar and was heading into Seward. The driver was described as being highly intoxicated. SPD officer responded but did not locate the vehicle.
07:06 - Citation for speed issued to Mark Dalpes on Seward Highway at North Harbor Street.
08:48 - Individual advised that a vehicle with Yukon Territory plates was still camping on the old Wesleyan property.
09:10 - Parks and Rec turned over to SPD a camera that was found in a space at the Forest Acres Campground.
09:20 - A trouble light was reportedly flashing on the railroad control building by Questa Woods. Alaska Railroad was advised.
09:22 - Individual stated that someone entered the business sometime during the night and had taken a money bag. Nothing else appeared to have been taken.
12:24 - Verbal warning issued for failure to register vehicle.
13:06 - Parking problem reported in the area southeast of Subway. A truck was blocking the pathway.
15:02 - Yukon Fire was working on the fire systems at Safeway. They would call when done.
15:11 - A male subject, heavy set and wearing a red coat, was reported to be a traffic hazard at the three bridges on Seward Highway.
15:31 - Individual reported that an unattended child was southbound from Wells Fargo on Third. Officer responded and made contact with her and two adults who were helping to find the parent(s).
15:58 - Verbal warning for speed issued at Seward Highway and Airport Road.
16:52 - Individual reported that her rental vehicle was hit while parked in the 100 block of fourth. Officer located the driver of the other vehicle.
20:18 - Individual reported that people were parking and getting out of their cars in the middle of the lanes near the three bridges on Seward Highway to look at a bear.
20:29 - Caller reported that his home at Heather Lee Lane had lost power.
21:00 - Individual turned in to SPD a check that he found on Third near AVTEC.
23:01 - Caller reported that three people in dark clothes, one wearing a backpack, were mooning passing vehicles on Fourth near AVTEC. Officers contacted three people who denied any involvement.
23:32 - Verbal warning for failure to signal turn issued at Third and Adams.
