Where to vote
• Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28 for the Alaska Primary Election.
• Voters need to identification, like a driver’s license, with them.
• Anyone who needs assistance with voting can call 1-866-958-8683 or the Seward City Clerk, 224-4045, for information.
• The polling location for Seward and Lowell Point precinct is the KM Rae Building at Seward Marine Center, 125 Third.
• Bear Creek precinct voting is at the Bear Creek Fire Hall, Mile 5 Seward Highway.
• Moose Pass precinct voting is at Moose Pass Community Hall, Mile 29 Seward Highway.
• Cooper Landing precinct voting at Cooper Landing Community Hall.
• Hope precinct voting is at Hope Social Hall on Main Street.
• East Peninsula voters can cast their in-person absentee ballot at the Seward City Clerk’s office through Monday, Aug. 27. For information call 224-4045.
• Any registered voter can vote on the Alaska Indpendence, Democrat and Libertarian ballot. Voters registered as Republican, Undeclared or Nonpartisan can vote on the Republican ballot. All voters, no matter their declared affiliation, vote on ballot measures.
