23:27 - Individual requested an officer for skaters at the skate park after hours. Skaters were gone upon officer’s arrival.
July 16
00:37 - Individual reported a vehicle in a ditch on Camelot and the people might be intoxicated. At 00:41 reporting party advised that one person may have a broken foot. SAST advised. BCVFD/SVAC dispatched. BCVFD/SVAC advised patient refused treatment.
01:35 - Fritz Barras arrested on SAST warrant ($2,000, OC Criminal Mischief III and Provide False Info) at Camelot and transported to SCJ.
04:56 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Seward Highway and Nash Road on the bike path for an injured bicyclist. BCVFD/SVAC dispatched and unable to locate anyone in the area.
06:54 - 911 abandoned call.
09:04 - Verbal warning for speed issued on Seward Highway next to Chevron.
09:33 - Individual from Parking Department reported a yellow lab running lose around the south boat ramp. Message left for the ACO. Reporting party called back and advised that he found the owner of the dog and all is OK now. ACO updated.
10:47 - Parking warning for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic left on a vehicle in the 200 block of Fifth.
11:07 - Individual with Borough Maintenance advised that he would be working on the Seward High School’s fire systems and would advise when he was done.
11:29 - Individual from AVTEC Maritime advised that they would do a controlled burn at the Spring Creek Campground.
13:23 - Individual reported a barking dog on Ballaine. ACO was notified and would check on the dog.
13:28 - 911 misdial.
15:12 - Verbal warning issued for Current Tag To Be Displayed.
16:13 - Individual reported male subjects drinking behind Alaska SeaLife Center. Officer responded and contacted four individuals. All were trespassed from ASLC property.
16:14 - Update: Reported missing bike found on bike path, message on owner’s phone.
17:22 - Alley between Fifth and Sixth was blocked for the night.
July 17
02:14 - 911 caller from Van Gilder Hotel reported one of the lower level windows to their rooms was broken. Officer arrested Ferris Penson DV Criminal Mischief IV, MICS VI and transported to SCJ.
07:16 - Parking warning for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic issued in the 400 block of Third.
08:35 - Two summonses were served to a subject.
08:40 - Individual from the Parks and Rec Department took a bike to SPD that he recovered from the skate park. Bike was from an earlier case. Message left for the owner of the bike.
09:45 - Individual requested an officer to Glacier View Apartments for a female who was yelling outside of the apartment. Officer contacted three people. One was issued a disorderly conduct warning and asked to leave the residence for the day. Another was given transport from the residence to Safeway.
10:35 - Individual reported a little black bear running though yards in the area of Bear Drive. Officer was unable to locate the bear.
11:27 - Individual reported that female was at the dump and appeared to be intoxicated. Officer contacted the driver at the dump and all was OK.
12:13 - Trooper arrested Luther Kuller on Old Exit Glacier Road for a warrant (OC Harassment 2/N Bail, Serve 5 Days) and remanded him to SCJ.
12:20 - Individual reported that he lost his wallet in the area of the Smoke Shack on Fourth. At 12:57 reporting party advised that he found his wallet.
12:21 - 911 caller reported that Sean Spiers just assaulted her, and took her $1,200 and some pain medication. Officers contacted reporting party at her residence. Officers were unable to locate Spiers. Spiers charged with Assault IV, Robbery, and Criminal Mischief IV.
13:30 - Verbal warning for Registration issued next to Essential One.
16:03 - Individual reported a white pit bull running around by Apollo Restaurant. ACO was unable to locate dog.
16:30 - 911 caller reported a male having chest pain and he has history of heart murmur. Subject transported to hospital.
16:30 - Individual reported a small chihuahua from Spruce Street running through her yard.
17:04 - Individual found an iPad in the middle of Seward Highway at Metco.
17:50 - Resident on Bear Drive was having a bonfire and had a permit.
18:21 - 911 abandoned call.
19:39 - Individual advised that his son found a black bike on the bike path.
18:42 - 911 hang up call.
18:42 - Report of a fight downtown. Ferris Penson contacted and taken to the hospital.
19:21 - 911 misdial.
19:38 - Individual reported a black lab in bad shape at Fourth and Van Buren. ACO responded.
20:09 - 911 caller stated she was half way up the path to the icefield on Exit Glacier and a friend had possibly broken her ankle.
20:39 - 911 caller stated there were five male subjects intoxicated across the street from Bayside Apartments. Officer contacted two subjects.
20:59 - Russell Jackson arrested at Marathon Campground for FTA ($500 Anchorage AST Warrant).
July 18
00:09 - Verbal warning for Headlight Out issued at Seward Highway and North Harbor.
00:29 - Individual reported a blue sedan on Nash Road passing Bayview Trailer Park heading towards Seward Highway. SAST advised.
00:42 - Officer noted an unsecured vehicle in the 400 block of Fifth and secured it.
02:16 - Individual requested extra patrols around Bear Drive for the night. Officer advised.
04:57 - Parking warning for Parking Against Flow Of Traffic issued at Hotel Seward.
10:01 - 911 open line call.
10:15 - 911 open line call.
10:16 - Individual reported that a pit bull just charged him. Reporting party stated that the dog was behind a residence on Second, and that is was not the first time the dog had done this to him. ACO notified and would take care of it.
10:31 - 911 abandoned call.
15:35 - Individual reported he lost his eye glasses downtown.
16:00 - Individual found an iPhone in front of the Yukon Bar.
16:38 - Individual reported that his girlfriend dropped his iPhone out of a wagon around the Buick Building.
16:51 - Citation for Failure To Carry Proof Of Insurance and warning for Failure To Stop At Stop Sign issued at Seward Highway and Nash Road.
17:18 - Verbal warning for Failure To Stop At Stop Sign at Third and Jefferson.
19:15 - Individual stated that her son lost his black wallet between Ace Hardware and Smoke Shack.
21:46 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Third and Jefferson.
21:56 - Small brush fire reported in the SMIC dry dock area. SVFD/SVAC dispatched.
22:59 - SAST requested an officer assist at Salmon Creek Trailer Park. SAST arrested Rodger Hayward for DUI and DWLR and transported to SCJ.
