James D. Yakal
James D. Yakal, 54, died July 4, 2012 in Florida. Jim had lived in Alaska for over 40 years and had loved to explore, hike, and enjoy all of Alaska. He missed being up here after moving to Florida last fall. The only thing that surpassed his love of Alaska was his love for all his many friends. He was always a dear and true friend to all. He is survived by so many of his dear friends here in Alaska and those who had befriended him during his short stay in Florida. We bid you good-bye sweet friend. Services will be held July 28 at 2 p.m. at Eagles Nest Christian Fellowship, Second and Madison.
