June 28

23:40 - Verbal warning for Speed issued.

23:40 - Officer responded to Forest Acres Campground for a report of a male giving two girls a pill. Officer unable to locate the male.

June 29

00:50 - Yukon Bar requested an officer for a man who assaulted the bartender and bouncer. Officers made contact with Ibrahim Kane who was criminally trespassed from Yukon Bar indefinitely and not to return to other bars that night.

01:10 - Officer advised cab driver who dropped off a male at the Pit Bar who claimed he was an undercover officer, and had handcuffs and a gun. SAST advised. Trooper responded with officers. David M. Harris arrested for MIW IV, MIW V and transported to SCJ.

01:59 - Zane Wheeler arrested for DUI and MICS VI at Third and Jefferson and transported to SCJ. Glacier Towing responded. ACO responded to retrieve the dog.

03:35 - Van Gilder Hotel reported a person lying on the picnic table across the street. Officer responded and advised it was just a coat on the table someone left behind.

06:53 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Hotel Edgewater for a 77-year-old female who felt ill for the previous few days. SVFD/SVAC dispatched.

07:56 - Parking warning issued for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic at Fifth and Adams.

09:00 - Individual reported a pair binoculars worth $175 were stolen from the Breeze Inn.

09:02 - Received two 911 calls that sounded like kids on the other end talking. Unable to call back number.

09:13 - Warning issued for illegal parking in front of Hotel Seward.

09:38 - Verbal warning issued for Improper Passing at Mile 4.5 Seward Highway.

10:21 - Major Marine Tours reported that someone had a bag of luggage stolen from them. Officer responded and the luggage was recovered from another shuttle.

11:53 - Ambulance requested at Mile 37 Seward Highway for a male having a seizure. SVAC/MPVFD dispatched.

12:44 - 911 misdial.

13:07 - Individual reported a male and a female smoking something in a small room in the alleyway between Second and Third. Officers responded and advised that all was OK.

15:00 - Individual requested that fingerprints be taken off his motor from his boat. Officer responded.

15:12 - Individual took a Samsung cell phone into SPD.

15:35 - Individual reported several young males with cases of beer hiking up to the waterfall behind Pacific Park Apartments. Officer responded.

16:04 - 911 abandoned call.

16:26 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Third and A.

17:05 - Individual reported that children at First and Adams were yelling profanities towards tourists. Officer responded.

17:40 - Individual reported that she lost a piece of dark green/brown floral carry-on luggage. Reporting party stated that she rode Seward Bus from Anchorage to Seward and could have possibly left it in the van.

18:05 - Verbal warning for Following Too Close issued on Seward Highway at Airport Road.

18:11 - Verbal warning for Following Too Close issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.

18:24 - 911 misdial, three times.

18:30 - SAST requested an ambulance for a male who broke his leg riding his motorcycle about .75 miles past the Bear Creek fishing weir. BCVFD/SVAC dispatched.

18:40 - Individual reported that a spool of wire that appeared to be dangerous to runners was on Mount Marathon by the benches. Officer located wire and tried to remove it.

19:50 - 911 alarm, twice: Fire alarm sounded at the Holiday Inn Express and the second caller stated there was a fire in the dumpster. SVFD/SVAC dispatched.

20:14 - Verbal warning for Speed issued on Seward Highway at Safeway.

20:26 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Ballaine and Monroe.

20:27 - 911 misdial.

20:39 - Verbal warning for Speed issued on Sea Lion and Seward Highway.

20:57 - Individual reported that his truck was hit in the parking lot at Safeway at approximately 18:00. Scratches were down the driver’s side of the passenger door. Officer talked with reporting party.

23:01 - 911 misdial.

23:45 - Individual requested than an officer talk with the people at the skate park since it was after park hours. Officer advised skaters.

June 30

00:00 - Verbal warning for Rear White Light issued on Adams near AVTEC.

02:37 - SAST requested officer assistance at Herman Leirer Road. After picking up Brittany Stallings for DUI, the passenger, John Spiers, stole the vehicle and fled down Herman Leirer Road. SPD responded to assist. Stallings transported to SCJ. Spiers was later found and also transported to SCJ for DUI, DWLR, Vehicle Theft, and $500, FTA OC False Report and 10 days serve, OC DWLR.

06:08 - N. Tolson arrested for DV Assault IV and transported to SCJ.

09:20 - Individual reported that his card shark bike was missing from the Pavilion since June 21.

12:06 - Verbal warning for Failure To Stop At Stop Sign issued on Seward Highway at Sea Lion.

12:20 - Verbal warning for Parking Too Close To Crosswalk issued in front of Alaska SeaLife Center.

12:48 - Verbal warning for Speed issued on Seward Highway at Safeway.

13:32 - Individual reported that she lost her brown Coach wallet in the Silver Salmon camping area of Lowell Point.

13:51 - 911 caller reported a 19-year-old passenger was having a seizure in the back seat. Reporting party did not request an ambulance and was driving passenger to ER. Only wanted escort through town.

14:20 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Fourth and Jefferson.

14:25 - Individual reported that between 01:00 and 09:00 his ice chest and contents were taken from his Forest Acres Camp.

14:39 - Individual stated that multiple cars would be parking in the Two Lakes area for a wedding during the following hour.

17:10 - Caller reported illegal camping at Air Force Rec Camp. Camper was parked in wrong site.

17:31 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Mile 1 Seward Highway.

17:50 - Verbal warning issued for Weaving In Road.

18:18 - SAST arrested Cole Sprinkle for MICS IV and DWLR.

18:21 - False alarm at the Breeze Inn.

19:37 - Individual reported a lost Timex watch with leather band, wedding band with gold nugget and diamond and a yellow gold sonic ring.

19:25 - Citation for Speed issued to Behruz Nassreesfahani at Fourth and Madison

19:33 - Warning for No Rear Tags issued at Fourth and Madison

19:36 - AST arrested of Edward Sweeney for DUI.

19:41 - Citation for Parking At Fire Hydrant issued at Fourth and Railway.

20:18 - Caller reported a horse out on the edge of the road on Phoenix.

20:24 - 911 abandoned call.

20:41 - 911 caller reported a CO detector going off behind Subway. Alarm reset itself.

20:52 - Verbal warning issued for Failure To Come To A Complete Stop At A Stop Sign.

21:25 - Warning for No Tags On Rear Of Vehicle issued in the 400 block of Third.

21:29 - SAST arrested Jamii Reaves MICS VI and DUI.

21:49 - SAST arrested Timothy Barclay for DWLS.

22:01 - Tyrone C. Hall arrested on SAST warrant at Third and Van Buren. No bail, 10 days to serve.

23:08 - Kyle Lackey arrested at the Yukon Bar for SAST warrant. $100, misdemeanor/no bail, 20 days to serve.

23:38 - Parking warning issued for dim tab causing them to be unreadable.

23:44 - Troopers arrested Carry Ann Schultz on a Palmer AST JS warrant for probation violation, $15,000. Original charge MICS IV. Schultz transported to SCJ.

July 1

00:14 - AST arrested Matthew Merrill for DUI, Felony Elude and MICS VI. He was transported to SCJ.

00:38 - Verbal warning issued on Third near Qutekcak.

00:55 - Verbal warning for Failure To Stop issued by Chevron.

01:18 - AST arrested Justin Travis for DUI at approximately Mile 7 Seward Highway. Travis transported to SCJ.

01:37 - Tyrone C Hall arrested for warrant and DWLR.

01:42 - Verbal warning for Driving In The Wrong Lane issued at Fourth and Railway.

01:57 - AST arrested Jason Burch for DUI, MIW IV, and MICS VI. Burch transported to SCJ.

02:00 - AST arrested Brandon Ryan for DUI near Bear Lake. Ryan transported to SCJ.

02:15 - Officers heard a possible fight in progress behind City Hall. All was OK. They just needed a cab home.

02:51 - Verbal warning for No Taillights issued on Fourth by Harbor Light Condos.

03:08 - Officer provided transportation for an intoxicated female to the KFT Bunkhouse.

03:14 - AST arrested Kathy Cristiani at the Phoenix Building for DUI and MIW. She was transported to SCJ.

06:09 - Individual advised that a tire was on fire on top of a pickup truck between Bayside Apartments and No Sweatt Auto. SVFD and SVAC responded.

11:25 - Individual requested to speak with an officer about child abuse. After talking with reporting party it was determined to be taking place outside city limits. Information forwarded to OCS.

12:04 - 911 caller reported a male had collapsed having a seizure at the Alaska SeaLife Center. While on the phone the male became aware and conscious, and his wife refused treatment or ambulance for him. No one dispatched and advised them to go to PSMC.

13:37 - 911 caller stated that he bought a stove and that person was in his apartment demanding it back. Advised parties that was a civil issue.

15:05 - Verbal warning for Illegal Turn issued at Fifth and Railway.

15:14 - Public Works called and advised that the signs for street closure to clean streets starting at 04:00 on July 2 were on Adams from Third to Fifth, and Washington from Third to Fifth.

16:32 - SAST reported 911 hang up call.

17:58 - Individual requested medics at the cruise ship terminal for 44-year-old male having trouble breathing and a temperature of 103.

22:29 - Female caller reported a large group of people drinking up Dairy Hill by the park benches.

22:43 - SAST arrested Suzanne Towsley for DUI on Second.

23:28 - SAST arrested Brock Oetinger DWLR and Failure To Appear warrant, $250.

23:31 - SAST arrested Jonathan Casio for $500 FTC.

July 2

00:05 - 911 caller at Williams Tent Campground requested an officer for an intoxicated person in the campground. Officers responded and also made contact with Craig Johnson. Johnson arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to SCJ.

01:15 - Mary Loecher arrested by AST at Mile 15 Seward Highway for DUI and transported to SCJ.

02:05 - Verbal warning for Headlight Requirements issued at Safeway.

04:23 - Luke Spiers arrested by AST for DWLR at Bear Creek RV Park and transported to SCJ.

06:55 - 911 pocket dial.

07:01 - Nichole Collinson arrested at Seward and Hemlock for SAST warrants $500, FTA, OC NVOL; $500, FTA, OC Probation Conditions and $500, FTA, OC DC and PTRP. Collinson transported to SCJ.

09:40 - Individual reported that he lost his black billfold with a silver clip around June 30.

10:45 - Warning left on vehicle in the 500 block of Ballaine advising campers that they needed to move their tent 10 feet from fog line and for leaving their fire unattended. Officer put out fire with a bottle of water.

12:00 - Caller from Anchorage reported that he lost his light brown wallet with $400 in cash in it. At 12:54 individual reported that his wallet was found.

13:17 - Citation for Failure To Register Vehicle left on a vehicle on Fourth across from Breeze Inn Restaurant.

13:36 - Public Works advised that the street closed signs were out on Adams from Third to Fifth, and Washington from Third to Fifth for vendors to be able to start to set up for the Fourth of July. Also there were signs out from Fourth to Third on Jefferson for morning cleaning.

15:00 - David Phillips arrested on Port Avenue for Driving While License Cancelled. Phillips transported to SCJ. Vehicle released to another individual.

15:00 - 911 abandoned call.

15:47 - Individual from Afognak Construction reported his 245 excavator had more windows broken out.

15:58 - Individual reported vehicles parking over the yellow lines in the Harbor Parking.

16:45 - 911 misdial.

17:00 - Individual reported an RV was parked in a lot on Jefferson and Second. Owner of property stated the RV had permission to park in the lot.

19:25 - Caller stated an elderly female fell, hit her face and was bleeding across from the Yukon Bar.

21:33 - Male subject was having trouble breathing on Phoenix.

22:22 - SAST reported that a brown bear was chasing a moose and calf around Maple Street.

23:05 - SAST arrested Matthew Perkins for DWLR and DUI.

23:56 - John D. Hull Jr. arrested at Mile 6 Seward Highway for DUI, No Valid Operator’s License, SAST warrant $100, FTA Obey Citation and SAST warrant FTA, OC DWLR in another state.

July 3

00:35 - Jorge Escalante arrested at Safeway for Anchorage AST JS warrant $250, FTA, OC MICS VI and transported to SCJ.

00:39 - Verbal warning for Open Container issued at Small Boat Harbor spit.

00:52 - Verbal warning for Speed and Failure To Use Turn Signals issued at the Post Office.

01:00 - Six 911 calls about an intoxicated juvenile stealing gear at Waterfront Campgrounds and threatening her husband with a knife. Officers responded and advised that no one wanted to file charges. Juvenile was reunited with parent.

05:21 - Andrew Pittman arrested by AST at Mile 3 Seward Highway for Petition To Revoke Probation, Provide False Information, MICS IV and MCA and transported to SCJ.

05:35 - Parking warning for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic issued in the 200 block of Fifth.

07:06 - Verbal warning issued for No Bumper and No Display Of Plate at Seward Highway and Nash Road.

08:15 - SVFD issued a burn permit for Alaska Waste at 3200 Diamond Street for the day only.

08:20 - Individual reported an RV parked just past Pacific Park Apartments on Caines Street making noise until 04:00 that morning. Officer determined that the location of the RV was the private property of the registered owner.

09:06 - Verbal warning for Following Too Close To Leading Vehicle issued at Three Bears.

10:00 - Individual reported he lost a green folding wallet around the Mariners’ Memorial.

10:20 - 911 caller reported an electrical fire at Resurrection Campground.

10:40 - Verbal warning for Failure To Yield To Oncoming Traffic issued on Fourth next to Thorn’s.

10:53 - Verbal warning for Inoperable Headlight issued at Mile 4 Seward Highway.

10:55 - Individual reported RVs trying to park next to the helicopter pad by the hospital. Officer responded.

11:15 - Individual reported that two bikes were stolen from the 1900 block of Dora Way.

11:48 - Citation for Speed and verbal warning issued for Failure To Locate Insurance Card issued to Gabriel Zemach-Stovall at Seward Highway and Seward and Sea Lion.

12:27 - 911 misdial.

14:52 - Citation for Speed issued to Loretta Boncella Seward Highway and Sea Lion.

14:56 - 911 abandoned alarm call from Glacier View Apartments. Individual from Glacier View called to advised that it was just steam that set off the alarm and everything was fine.

14:57 - 911 caller requested SPD non-emergency phone number. Caller called the number and advised that he was the sound guy for the race the next day and there was a car at Fourth and Adams that needed to be moved. Caller then stated that he knew who it was and would get them to move the vehicle.

17:10 - Citation for No Parking In Loading Zone issued to Dawna Meade at Breeze Inn.

17:35 - Stephanie McKinnell arrested by AST for MICS IV at Mile 39 Sterling Highway and transported to SCJ.

17:43 - Citation for Expired Registration issued to Eva Streit while parked in front of Once in a Blue Moose.

17:46 - Citation for Driving With Expired Registration and warning for Not Having Registration In Vehicle issued to Keith Ambacher at Alaska SeaLife Center.

18:46 - SAST arrested Jordan Bailey for MICS IV and transported subject to SCJ.

18:43 - Individual stopped at city hall to report that he found $624 near the Resurrection South campground pay box.

19:01 - 911 misdial.

19:12 - Verbal warning for Broken Taillight issued in front of city hall.

19:44 - Parking citation for Parking In No Parking Zone issued at Fourth and Railway.

20:08 - Citation for No Proof Of Insurance and verbal warning for Speed issued to Leif Bardarson at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.

20:36 - Citation for Failure To Register Vehicle issued to Lori McDonnell at Third and Adams.

21:07 - Individual reported a white Dodge Ram speeding southbound on Third. Officers did not locate the vehicle.

21:08 - Verbal warning for Speed issued.

21:28 - Ambulance requested to Seward Highway and Nash Road for a female who was resisting arrest. While resisting something popped in her arm. SVAC and BCVFD responded.

21:35 - Individual staying at Taroka Inn complained of a disturbance in another room. Officer issued Disorderly Conduct warning to the occupants.

22:00 - SAST advised of a vehicle swerving coming in to Seward. Joseph Butler arrested by SPD for DUI in the Safeway parking lot and transported to SCJ.

22:03 - SAST arrested Israel Fontanez, for DUI and MICS VI, and transported him to SCJ.

22:09 - Purse found at Boulder Field.

22:23 - Individual reported possible underage drinkers on Fourth in front of A Flying Skein. Officer responded.

22:07 - Verbal warning for Speed issued. (Late entry.)

23:20 - AST arrested David Mathieson on an SAST warrant for FTA for arraignment. William Sacier arrested for DWLR and DUI.

July 4

00:33 - Individual advised that a despondent intoxicated female was sitting in the entry to Oriental Garden. Officer spoke with her and then transported her to Holiday Inn Express.

00:47 - Verbal warning for Headlight Requirement issued on Ballaine near Madison.

00:56 - Individual advised that someone was shooting fireworks across from the animal shelter.

01:01 - AST arrested William Beck DUI and MIW IV. Aaron Thrall arrested for MICS VI.

01:02 - AST arrested Patrick Walsh for Felony DUI and BTR and transported to SCJ.

01:33 - Individual reported hearing a female screaming near the Alaska SeaLife Center. The female was located and transported to PSMC due to extreme intoxication.

01:50 - AST arrested Crystal Pickett for MICS VI by AST and transported to SCJ.

02:31 - Verbal warning for Failure To Stop At The Stop Sign issued at Seward Highway and Van Buren.

02:32 - Caller reported an intoxicated female in the male rest room at the Harbormaster’s. Officers transported her to SCJ for Protective Custody.

02:56 - AST arrested Kari Mote for DUI at Mile 5 Seward Highway. Mote transported to SCJ.

03:05 - Officer provided transportation to two females who were unable to locate their vehicle.

03:38 - AST arrested Michael Strupler for DUI at Old Exit Glacier Road and transported him to SCJ.

03:41 - Troopers, with SPD assist at the Pit Bar, arrested Kyle Wilson Assault IV and Drunk on Licensed Premise. Jose Nanez arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault IV and Drunk on Licensed Premise. John Edmunson arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault IV and Drunk on Licensed Premise.

04:03 - Officer responded to a female’s complaint of a male acting strangely in the area.

04:05 - Verbal warning issued for Speed.

04:22 - Two vehicles impounded due to being parked on Fourth.

07:49 - Warning for illegal parking was left on vehicle in front of the Seward Hotel.

07:57 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Fourth and Monroe.

08:34 - Parking citation for Parking Inside A Crosswalk left on vehicle on Fourth next to Breeze Inn Restaurant.

08:44 - Verbal warning for Brake Light Out issued next to Railway Cantina.

09:05 - Individual from Safeway requested an officer to Safeway to trespass a juvenile Officer and found that the subject was in Safeway the night before and caught trying to steal a bottle of liquor. Subject was previously trespassed from Safeway until Oct. 15. Manager requested that subject be trespassed for an additional five years.

09:34 - Verbal warnings for Speed and Not Having Operator’s License With Him issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.

09:34 - Cell phone found at Marathon Campground turned in.

09:40 - Verbal warning for Improper Stop On Railroad Tracks issued on Leirer Road.

09:46 - Individual reported a vehicle driving in the center lane with hazard lights on the Seward Highway headed south next to Safeway. Officers were unable to locate.

10:26 - 911 caller reported that his bike was stolen from next to the Grandstand on Fourth. Officer responded. Caller then called 911 again and advised that he found his bike.

10:32 - SVFD Mountain Crew requested an ambulance at the chute for a 13-year-old male who fell.

11:40 - 911 misdial.

12:20 - Officer reported finding a juvenile in the crowd on Fourth. Female claimed the child.

12:28 - Fire officer advised he was transporting a female to the hospital for a possible broken wrist.

12:33 - Jeremiah Meade arrested on Anchorage AST Warrant and remanded him to SCJ.

12:52 - Individual reported that a female fell at the rock face on Mount Marathon.

13:07 - Verbal warning for Riding Outside Of Vehicle On A Skate Board at Fourth and D.

13:41 - 911 abandoned call.

15:00 - Individual reported two vehicles headed northbound on Seward Highway from Essential One. The drivers were reported to have shared a bottle of liquor before driving off. Information given to SAST.

15:59 - SVFD requested an ambulance for a man down with massive trauma at the bottom of the chute.

16:30 - Street vendor gave a found wallet to a SPD officer.

17:49 - Individual reported a yellow cell phone charger was stolen at the Harbormaster’s.

18:03 - Individual reported he lost his light blue wallet the night before in the harbor area.

18:30 - Individual reported that five or six intoxicated juveniles who were walking. Dakota Lowry arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest and transported to SCJ. Lowry also issued a citation for MCA.

18:48 - 911 caller reported intoxicated female on Sixth. Female was with a group of people. All OK.

19:15 - 911 misdial.

19:20 - AST arrested Casey Davis at Mile 14 Seward Highway felony DUI, Felony Elude, warrant arrest and DWLR, and transported him to SCJ.

20:00 - Caller advised there was still one runner who was overdue and last seen between 17:30-18:00 near the top of the mountain. Seward Fire officer advised.

20:53 - Safeway requested an officer for a shoplifter. Officer responded and made contact with subject, and advised there was no theft.

21:00 - AST arrested Shane Thomassen for DUI, DWLR, ELUDE and transported him to SCJ.

21:00 - Charles Britt arrested by AST for Disorderly Conduct and transported him to SCJ.

21:33 - 18:03 caller reported he found his wallet.

22:31 - Resurrection North Campground Host reported several intoxicated males were urinating on the bike trail. Officer responded.

23:00 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Third and Monroe.

23:07 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Three Bears.

23:09 - Verbal warning for Speed and No Headlights issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
