Moose Pass holds solstice festival

 


The annual Moose Pass Summer Solstice festival is this weekend, June 23 and 24. The weekend events include food, beer garden, live music, raffle, auction, kids’ games and a bake sale, according to the festivals facebook.com page. The live entertainment scheduled is Whipsaws, Jack River Kings, Meg Mackey Band, Caines Head and Pretty Damn Close Band. The event is a Sportsmen’s Club production and the money raised goes to support maintenance of the Moose Pass community hall, the local fire department and library, and provide activities for area children.
