23:44 - Yukon Bar requested officers to drive by the area after several people went outside for a possible fight. Officers responded and were unable to locate subjects.
May 30
00:53 - Yukon Bar reported a subject came in and advised that three males were threatening him with knives in front of Seward Alehouse. Officers responded and were unable to locate the suspects. Subject transported to his residence.
01:44 - Verbal warning for Headlight issued at Fourth and North Harbor.
01:57 - Warning issued for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic at Hotel Edgewater.
12:08 - 911 misdial with beeping sounds in the background. No an answer on callback. At 12:12 SPD spoke with subject and all was OK.
12:09 - Individual reported to AST that a vehicle was stolen during the night from Knot So Fast Feed Store. AST did not have trooper in Seward and asked SPD to keep a lookout.
12:55 - Individual from above call reported that she found her truck and was headed to get it at Fourth of July beach. She stated that there were several people headed recover the truck from people at the beach. Reporting party was told that no one is to approach the vehicle and that officers were on their way.
13:29 - Individual from Safeway requested an officer for an intoxicated male behind the store. Officer responded and contacted subject.
13:30 - Individual from the harbor department reported a vehicle was parked in a no parking zone next to Hertz Rental on Port Avenue. Officer responded and contacted owner who removed the vehicle.
15:59 - Citation for Failure To Carry Proof Of Insurance issued to Daniel Spiers at Seward Highway and Iron Drive
16:59 - 911 hangup call from Seward Mountain Haven. Callback to all the lodges revealed all was OK.
17:59 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Mile 4 Nash Road.
May 31
09:35 - 911 misdial. Determined all was OK on callback.
09:50 - Verbal warning for Speed issued next to Terry’s Tires.
10:09 - Citation for Failure To Provide Proof Of Insurance issued to Michael Thomas in Bayside parking lot. Also issued warning for Speed.
11:51 - Individual reported a motor vehicle accident in Ray’s parking lot.
12:54 - AVTEC Maritime advised that they would do flare drills from 13:00 to 14:00 in the SMIC area.
16:13 - Individual reported a vehicle parked on Airport Road that smelled of marijuana.
19:19 - 911 misdial from Fourth with people laughing in the background. No response on callback.
19:47 - Citation for Speed issued to Dolly Komakhuk at Third and D.
21:55 - Seward Mountain Haven Lupine Lodge requested an ambulance for a female with shortness of breath. SVAC/SVFD dispatched.
21:58 - Water alarm from Lowell Canyon Low tank. On call waste/water advised.
June 1
00:02 - Yukon Bar reported a fight in progress outside the bar. Officer contacted three subjects and no fight was in progress. Joshua Christiansen was trespassed from the Yukon Bar indefinitely and Lance Walton was trespassed from all bars for the night.
00:15 - Caller from the Yukon Bar said a male was outside requesting an ambulance for unknown reasons. Subject was only seeking a place to stay for the night. Officer advised him that he must find his own place to stay.
01:22 - PSMC requested an ambulance to the hospital to transport a patient back to Mountain Haven. SVAC responded.
09:14 - Individual turned in black Sennheiser bag with an iPod and headphones that she found on Dimond.
09:20 - Hotel Seward requested an officer for a guest who reported theft from their room. Officer responded and contacted subjects.
12:15 - Two kayakers reported to have flipped over in Resurrection Bay and one could not get back in the kayak. Mayday issued and F/V Strider responded, picked up the kayakers and transported them to Seward. Medical assistance was not requested. USCG and SFD advised.
12:45 - A vehicle on Phoenix Drive was reported to be abandoned. Officer responded and asked owner to move the vehicle. The vehicle was moved.
13:30 - A large dog as reported to be chained up outside the Yukon Bar and lunging at people. Officer and ACO responded. Owner advised that she can not leave dog unattended.
14:15 - Individual from Once in a Blue Moose turned over to SPD a camera that was left at their store.
14:30 - Individual from First Student reported a white van on the on ramp of Port and Seward Highway blocking the roadway. Officer found the vehicle had moved.
16:16 - Citation for Failure To Yield To Oncoming Traffic issued on Seward Highway.
17:10 - 911 caller reported an injured cow/calf moose on Levee Road and headed towards Seward Highway. A second 911 caller reported the same moose on Levee Road. Officer responded.
20:16 - Warning for parking illegally issued to vehicle in front of Terry’s Fish and Chips.
20:17 - Caller reported that the fire alarm at The Youth Center was bumped by accident and sounding. Fire officer reset alarm and advised there was heat detector damage.
20:31 - Citation for Expired Registration and warning for Parking In The Street issued to Helen Stewart on Swetmann.
20:46 - Warning issued for Parking In The Street issued on Swetmann across from Kimberly Court.
20:52 - Citation for Expired Registration issued to Silvannia Ely in the 300 block of Third.
21:18 - Verbal warnings for Speed and Improper Display Of Tags issued at Safeway parking lot.
21:35 - Citation for Speed issued to David Seidman at Mile 2 Seward Highway.
22:02 - Individual from Seward Army Recreation Camp reported an intoxicated male almost hit by car and headed towards the Forest Acres Campground. Officer was unable to locate individual.
22:19 - 911 caller reported that a customer at Ray’s Waterfront had become agitated and was fighting with customers. Officers made contact and advised Robert Wilkins that he was indefinitely trespassed from Ray’s and gave him a warning for being Intoxicated On Licensed Premise.
23:36 - Individual reported numerous people in the 1st Lake area were being loud. Officer was unable to locate anyone.
June 2
00:22 - Verbal warning for Brake Lights issued at Port and Leirer. Driver advised to park the vehicle until the problem was fixed.
00:28 - Gateway employee advised of a male passed out in front of the pizza restaurant on North Harbor. Officers responded, woke the subject and sent him on his way.
00:33 - PSMC requested officer for a subject who wanted to talk with an officer about sexual assault. Officers responded and subject was transported to Kenai.
00:53 - Individual from Holiday Inn advised of several individuals who were making noise in front of the hotel and were headed towards the Train Wreck. Officer was unable to locate.
02:01 - Individual at Gateway advised that he found a bag of marijuana outside the store and requested an officer to pick it up. Officer responded.
08:13 - SAST reported that a Seward area resident fled from the scene and left a vehicle in Soldotna with a box of mint coins addressed to another Seward resident.
12:12 - Individual reported a subject was driving erratically and speeding from PSMC. Officer contacted the subject at Second and Madison and issued warning for Not Carrying Current Registration.
12:30 - A fleece vest with Subaru keys found near the wooden orca whale in front of Sew and Bee Cozy on Fourth was turned in to SPD. Property given to owner at 14:20.
14:26 - 911 misdial from Seward Senior Center elevator. Caller stated he accidentally pressed the button while cleaning.
14:48 - Reporting party, referred by SAST, requested a welfare check on two subjects staying at Harborview Inn. Officer made contact with subjects and found all to be fine.
16:17 - Caller said she was watching a camp site for someone at Williams Campground and another male occupied the site.
16:53 - Individual reported 1,110 pounds of steel fell on a 27-year-old male. SVAC/Moose Pass Fire responded.
June 3
00:30 - Subject taken into SPD after being picked up along the highway. Subject was confused and did not know how she got to Seward. She remembered being at Fred Meyer in Soldotna. Soldotna AST advised of the situation and her address was confirmed. Trooper responded and she was transported back to the Sterling area.
01:46 - Criminal trespass warning issued to Gregory Conley. He was told to stay off of Gateway Chevron property indefinitely after contact was made and he was sleeping on the bench outside the building.
05:53 - Gray and brown horse reported in Forest Acres area. Officer responded and contacted owner. The owners would get the horse.
13:17 - 911 call for a 17-year-old male at McDonald’s Beach on Nash Road who fell and split his head open. Numerous people were helping and caller advised they were going to take him to the ER. PSMC was advised.
14:06 - Officer spoke with an individual who complained she wanted a vehicle moved from her private property. Reporting party found spare key and moved the vehicle to a parking lot near X Float. Vehicle’s registered owner notified.
14:34 - 911 misdial. Dispatch determined a child accidentally dialed.
14:53 - Ambulance requested to Fourth in front of Alaska Nellie’s Roadhouse for an intoxicated male who could not get up and had facial lacerations. Officer provided transportation for accompanying subject to PSMC.
17:30 - A wallet was turned in to SPD.
16:45 and 19:15 - Two earthquakes, the first magnitude 6.6 and the second 5.1, south of Panama at a depth 6 miles. No tsunamis generated.
22:19 - PSMC requested an ambulance for a Life Crew transport from the airport to the hospital and back. SVAC responded.
22:47 - Cassandra Mackey advised that she was trespassed from Helly Hansen indefinitely.
23:15 - Several calls from Postal Inspection advising of an alarm at the Seward Post Office. Officers responded and contacted two subjects. Stephen Faigle and a 15-year-old were arrested and transported to SCJ. The juvenile was released to parents.
23:47 - 911 caller reported a vehicle travelling at 50 mph on Fourth next to the Small Boat Harbor.
June 4
09:45 - Burn permit issued to Alaska Waste at 3200 Dimond for the day and the next day.
10:08 - Burn permit issued to Hotel Edgewater for the day only.
13:10 - Verbal warning for No Plate On Front Of Vehicle and Not Changing Registration issued at Second and Adams.
16:40 - Individual requested that an officer do a welfare check on a female at the Post Office. Officer was unable to make contact.
22:04 - Individual requested that an officer patrol the SMIC area because vehicles were speeding through the boat yard. Officer made contact with a subject and advised there is no camping on the beach.
June 5
03:45 - Individual reported too much noise from the apartment above him at Bayside. Officer responded and no one would answer the apartment door. All lights were out and the blinds closed. Officer gave a disorderly conduct warning through the door to anyone that could be listening.
11:16 - Citation for Speed issued to Venkatesh Yeshala on Fourth by Bayside.
13:45 - Officer requested a case number for an agency assist.
14:02 - Alaska SeaLife Center security reported a missing child two minutes before. Before officers arrived the child was found and all was OK.
14:31 - Officers contacted two drivers next to Chinook’s for a motor vehicle accident. Eric Espelin issued a Citation For Operating Vehicle In Violation Of Provisional Driver’s License.
17:16 - Officer reported glass on the highway at Mile 6. Alaska Department of Transportation notified.
21:46 - Individual requested that an officer do a welfare check on his son at Bear Drive because the mother called him and said the child was alone. Officer made contact and all was fine.
June 6
03:30 - Officer made contact with two people outside of city hall. There was a question of contact requirements/restrictions, so officer provided transportation for one subject to her residence at the Windsong Lodge.
04:53 - Parking warning for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic left on a vehicle at Fourth and Jefferson.
08:00 - Nichole Collinson arrested for Violation Of Conditions Of Release and transported to SCJ.
09:03 - Citation for Failure To Carry Proof Of Insurance issued to Emma Farris just north of Nash Road on Seward Highway. Verbal warnings for Headlight and Brake Light Requirements.
09:13 - Officer responded to Gateway Liquor for a motor vehicle accident.
19:11 - 911 caller reported that a subject was calling her who was not supposed to and would not stop. Officer spoke with caller and advised subject not to call anymore.
22:01 - SAST advised they had 911 abandoned calls from just north of Lowell Point Road from a phone number with a 911 area code.
June 7
00:57 - Yukon Bar bouncer requested that Charles James and Joshua Christensen be indefinitely trespassed.
01:52 - Female flagged down an officer to ask if there had been an earthquake.
02:04 - Verbal warning issued for Headlight.
02:41 - Fight in progress... contacted Dana Chiskok who was remanded for probation violation.
03:17 - Caller reported that a young child appeared to be outside crying and scratching at the window trying to get into No. 2.
04:40 - Medical call for a male going into diabetic shock.
07:04 - Abandoned Vehicle notice left on vehicle on Dora Way
11:02 - Individual reported that his black and silver Hard Rock bike was stolen from Fourth and Madison.
11:20 - Individual reported that a vehicle had been parked in the 200 block of Fourth for the previous three days.
17:41 - 911 misdial from Glacier Express.
19:18 - SAST advised they received a call with a 911 area code and the phone located in the 100 block of Delphin Street in the SMIC area. At 21:22 hours SAST reported receiving three more abandoned from same phone number.
19:39 - Individual reported an intoxicated male in the Safeway parking lot was getting into a vehicle. Officer arrested Ellis Welker for DUI, DWLR and BTR, and verbal for expired registration. Subject transported him to SCJ. Another subject was transported to Bayside Apartments..
20:20 - Trash warning issued in the 200 block of Second.
21:45 - Individual from the Yukon requested an officer for a person passed out in front of Brown and Hawkins. Officer made contact with subject and transported him to SCJ for Protective Custody.
June 8
23:31 - Individual reported skateboarders being loud.
23:43 - Verbal warning for Taillights issued at Seward Highway and Nash Road.
02:00 - Wells Fargo Security advised they had an alarm sounding. Officers responded and found the building secure with no one around.
05:09 - Ambulance was requested to the cruise ship terminal for a 68-year-old male with respiratory issues. SVAC and SFVD responded.
06:06 - Parking warning for being in the location too long issued to motor home parked at Third and Railway.
06:08 - Parking warning for Improper Parking left on vehicle in the 200 block of Fourth.
08:35 - Wells Fargo Security reported an alarm at 909 Third. Officer responded and found all to be OK.
09:05 - 911 call from 911 area code from phone at Delphin Street. Unable to callback.
09:39 - 911 misdial from the Seward Community Library. All sounded OK.
10:50 - Individual reported that her vehicle was hit and she did not know who it was at the Army Rec Camp. Officer responded.
11:10 - Officer requested a case number for a probation violation.
11:36 - Individual reported that several people had been chased off by a brown bear at the Lowell Canyon water towers. Officer responded and was unable to locate.
11:40 - 911 caller reported that she noticed what appeared to be a signal mirror about four-fifths of the way up Mount Marathon. SVFD notified and observed about 10 people making their way up the trail. All appeared to be OK.
13:59 - Verbal warning for rolling through a stop sign at Three Bears.
14:33 - Abandoned vehicle notice placed on vehicle in front of the Alaska Shop on Fourth.
16:15 - Officer requested a case number for a violation of restraining order.
16:17 - 911 caller reported a pit bull that was running into traffic in front of the Pit Bar. Information passed on to SAST.
16:22 - 911 call from Glacierview Apartments for a male who slipped, hit his back in the kitchen and unable to get up. SVAC/SVFD dispatched.
16:50 - 911 caller reported seeing a small skiff floating north of the pavilion waving gas jugs into the air. Officers arrived and relayed that the vessel did not appear to be in distress. Information passed to Coast Guard.
18:30 - PSMC requested SVAC a transport for Guardian at 18:50 hours from the airport. SVAC toned out.
19:33 - Individual reported that her car window had been broken by a thrown rock. Officer determined it was a civil matter.
21:02 - Ambulance requested through Lifeline for a 66-year-old male who fell and could not get up. SVAC/SVFD dispatched.
21:22 - Individual from Harborview Inn requested transportation for a female to Lowell Point and said she was shaky. Officer arrived and female requested to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
22:12 - Officer made contact with a vehicle at Fifth and Adams. Vehicle would not start and they were trying to get it into a parking spot.
