Saturday, May 19 Kids Fishing Day took place at 1st Lake with a record number of kids (88) along with their parents catching pretty good size trout. Thanks to the Fish & Game advisory committee for putting this event together every year and to the local businesses for their generous contributions. With much appreciation to Alaska Department of Fish and Game who planted around 500 fish, Seward Parks and Recreation, Safeway, Three Bears, Alaska Northern Outfitters, The Fish House, Helly Hansen, Alaska SeaLife Center, Justin Schoening, One Shot for taking pictures and the Mindens for the generous contribution. Without the help of our sponsors this event would not be possible Thank you, thank you!
