0:921 - Individual from Seward Resort reported two dogs trying to get into people’s RVs. ACO notified and would take care of them.
11:42 - Trooper arrested Kyle Lackey at Mile 3 Seward Highway for DWLR and remanded him to SCJ.
12:15 - Verbal warning for Speed issued at Third and Monroe.
13:50 - Individual reported a toddler running in the road on Bear and Resurrection. Officer responded, contacted the child and returned him to his mother. This case and a previous case were forwarded to Alaska Office of Children’s Services.
16:15 - Rock slide reported on Lowell Point Road that is a traffic hazard. Public Works notified. Road cleared by 16:43.
21:55 - Verbal warnings for No Parking Lights On Trailer and Speed on Seward Highway near Preacher’s Pond.
22:07 - Citation for Speed issued to Jeremy Gongora at Fourth and Ballaine.
23:25 - Report of youth playing football in the south harbor parking lot and being loud.

00:08 - Individual reported hearing a loud noise at the end of Sixth that sounded like a gunshot or firecracker. Officers responded and did not find anyone in the area.
04:34 - Parking warning for Parking Against The Flow Of Traffic left on a vehicle at Fourth and Washington across from Tony’s Bar.
04:39 - Parking warning for Partially Parking On The Sidewalk left on Vehicle in front of Thorn’s.
04:53 - Parking warning for No Front Plate left on a vehicle on Fifth near Hotel Seward.
06:08 - Individual reported she lost her purse. She believed she left it at Ray’s Restaurant.
08:15 - F/V Seavoir radioed U.S. Coast Guard to advise they had taken on some water while in the middle of Resurrection Bay and were heading towards Lowell Point.
08:40 - Verbal warning issued for Passing In A No Passing Zone issued at Seward Highway and Sea Lion.
10:55 - 911 open line call from a cell phone at Alaska Railroad terminal. Callback revealed it was a pocket dial.
13:30 - Individual advised of an unattended campfire at Williams Tent Camping.
14:22 - Cab driver reported a silver Dodge pickup, unknown plate, driving slowly and swerving into town.
17:20 - SAST reported a trooper arrested Russell Jackson for Domestic Violence Criminal Trespass. Subject transported to SCJ.
17:47 - F/V Caraway radioed U.S. Coast Guard to advise they had smoke coming from the engine compartment and were unable to see just off of Lowell Point.
20:37 - Individual reported illegal camping in the area of Two Lakes Trail area and that they had a campfire.
22:56 - Night watchman at Icicle Seafoods requested an officer for a motor vehicle accident with damage between the building and a vehicle. Officer determined it to be a civil matter.
23:13 - Individual reported an intoxicated male walking on Fourth northbound. Officers made contact with subject and determined he was unable to care for himself. Individual transported to SCJ for protective custody. PBT. 195.
May 27
02:45 - Automatic burglar alarm sounded at the post office. Officer responded, found the doors secure and no one in the area.
04:04 - Cab driver reported a male was passed out near the Yukon Bar entrance. Officer responded and found a male, not intoxicated, with a sleeping bag simply sleeping. The officer told him to relocate.
06:13 - Report that sometime during the night two coolers were taken from a campsite at Resurrection Campgrounds on Ballaine. Both coolers were full of beer and no other items were taken.
11:02 - Verbal warning for Failure To Stop At Stop Sign issued at Safeway.
11:14 - Individual contacted SPD and wanted to speak to AST in reference to an assault. Reporting party given number to AST.
11:20 - 911 caller reported a wounded moose limping on Birch Street heading towards Dimond. Officer responded, and advised moose was moving around and the injury appeared old.
11:35 - Report of illegal campers at First Lake Park.
12:28 - Report of large potholes near 222 Brownell. Message left with Public Works
12:32 - Report of loud music coming from a tan Expedition that was parked outside the Smoke Shop and then drove off. Reporting party advised that vehicle was there a lot, and was very loud and disrespectful.
13:41 - Verbal warning for Brake Light issued at Fourth and Monroe.
14:56 - 911 hang up call. Call back revealed that owner let his child play with his phone while at Forest Acres Campground. All OK.
15:40 - 911 hang up call from 1700 block of Iron Drive. No answer on callback.
15:41 - Individual dropped off a loose dog at SPD. Officer transported dog to animal shelter.
15:52 - Citation issued for Speed and No Proof Of Insurance.
16:63 - Report that there was a four wheeler across the street from the state shop.
16:25 - Employee of SCCC called to inquire if anything was going on at SCCC. A motorcycle or ATV was seen, and possibly heard fire truck.
16:27 - Report of subject on skateboard going down the road. Subject given a warning about being on city streets.
16:36 - Vehicle abandoned in the 1000 block of Fourth.
16:50 - Citation for Speed issued to Jerrell Barker.
17:13 - Citation for Speed issued to Jeng Woon-Shen.
20:09 - Report of a possible break in at 1806 Alemeda, Major Marine.
20:36 - Verbal warning issued for Speed.
21:08 - 911 caller reported a lost cell phone.
21:40 - Individual from Chevron reported they could smell alcohol on a subject’s breathe and saw him leave, southbound, in a vehicle.
22:01 - Verbal warning issued for No Trailer Lights.
22:10 - Verbal warning issued for Tail Light Out.
23:07 - Report of youth playing and being noisy by the waterfall.
23:30 - Report of youth skateboarding at the park and being noisy.
May 28
00:33 - Camper on the waterfront complained about a group of youth making too much noise.
01:17 - Officers responded to Bayside Apartments. Individual advised that a male was so intoxicated he might not be able to care for himself. Officers contacted subject and transported him to SCJ for protective custody.
05:04 - Ambulance was requested to Mountain Haven, Lupine House for a 90-year-old female with elevated blood pressure and irregular O2 stats. SVAC and SVFD responded.
11:11 - 911 misdial. Investigation led to local residence. Message left on call back. Owner was contacted by officer and all was OK. It happened the day before and was an ongoing problem.
11:45 - Individual requested an officer to The Van Gilder Hotel for an employee who was refusing to leave. Officer responded and found issue to be civil. One subject called 911 and asked for the police department number. Non emergency number given. At 13:10 reporting party advised that subject took his things and left on his own.
11:28 - Individual reported that a subject had violated his protective order. Officer investigated complaint and found subject to not be in violation.
May 29
08:07 - Parking warnings left two vehicles that were parked against the flow of traffic.
09:05 - SAST advised that they needed and ambulance at Seward Highway and Airport Road for a vehicle-pedestrian motor vehicle accident. Patient refused treatment.
10:33 - Individual requested an ambulance to the 200 block of Second for a 50-year-old female with no pulse.
11:05 - 911 misdial. All sounded OK in background.
11:23 - 911 misdial in which it sounded like someone walking in background. Message left on call back. Subject called back and all was OK.
13:09 - Parking warning was left a vehicle at Seward Highway and Hemlock for Parking Partly In The Roadway.
14:26 - 911 caller requested an ambulance to Old Exit Glacier Road for an infection, but changed her mind. Caller stated that she would call taxi get to the hospital.
14:27 - Individual with National Park Service reported that a vehicle was hit in the parking lot at Fourth and Adams.
