Summer Market opens
The Summer Market and Artists’ Co-op reopens today with flowers, herbs, veggie starts, and Bell’s tomatoes and cucumbers as they become available with more veggies by the end of June (B.Y.O.Bag). New art, re-purposed furniture, handmade soaps and sundries, recycled fire hose belts, wallets, and iphone cases, up-cycled bicycle chain and sprocket clocks, frames and bottle openers, letterpress cards, pottery, vintage slips, fused glass ice cream bowls, recycled paper journals, market baskets, dog toys/treats and more are at the market. Veggie nachos are coming in a few weeks. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The market is at 312 Fifth, a half block north of Seward Community Library.
