Cooperative Extension Service teaches fish canning

Canning fish was the topic Monday night at a demonstation presented by Linda Tannehill of the Cooperative Extension Service. Also available at the event was a packet full of tips and instructions for cooking, canning, freezing and pickling fish. Cooperative Extension Service also offers instructional materials about gardening, homemaking, tending domesticated animals and other topics, much of it specific to Alaska.
