Super Saturated Sugar Strings play at Resurrect Art Friday night.
Super Saturated Sugar Strings from Anchorage is holding the first of a series of CD release shows from 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Resurrect Art Coffee House. Carlyle Watt, Kathryn Moore (piano & percussion), Miriah Phelps (fiddle) and Theresa Taylor (cello) bring the show to town to celebrate the release of “Harmonic Toast.”
Sonicbids.com describes the group as “A high-energy, harmonious blend of strings, vocals, and percussion, the Sugar Strings are an alt-folk dish with flavors of an orchestral symphony and a gypsy party. Our acoustic splendor is known to touch hearts and kick up heels.”
Patrons can expect an intimate show with lots of stories about the songs and the musicians’ lives together as a band. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased as Resurrect Art.
