Jackson places second in regional Hoop Shoot

Seward eighth grader Ronald Jackson won second place in his age group at the Northwest Regional Elks Hoop Shoot this past weekend in Portland Oregon. Jackson sunk 20 of his 25 free throw shots, but took second to another youth who hit 24 of his 25 shots.
Earlier in the season Jackson placed first amongst the 12-13 year olds in the Alaska state-wide competition earning him the opportunity to compete in the regional competition against youth from Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
