Senior Girls team member Nancy Amend takes over from Janet Reid in the Seward High School Relay Bike Race on Sept. 30, 1966. Each team in the race had four members and each one had to complete the course, starting on Fourth Avenue, at the Alaska Shop, then left on Washington, left up Fifth Avenue, left on Adams and then left down Fourth to the transfer point at the Alaska Shop. The winning girls team in 1966 was the Freshmen Go-Go Girls and the winning boys team was the Pedaling Mummies.
