Community Schools Create Your Own Ceramics Drop In Class is on Saturdays in February at the AVTEC Ceramics Room each class is $5 drop in fee. A volunteer instructor will help with the steps to create beautiful ceramic works of art. It takes at least three classes to complete ceramic projects. Students are limited to three pieces at one time, abandoned pieces will be removed.

Community Schools Ice Fishing on Grouse Lake is from 1 p.m. to dark Feb. 12. Meet at the ILC if you need a ride. Art Osbourne share his fishing skills to teach the basics of ice fishing. There will be a bonfire with hot chocolate, chili and hot dogs. Participants can bring gear or borrow some from Community Schools. Osbourne will provide ice auger and basic ice fishing gear. Donations are welcome for this event. Please call Emily at the ILC, 224-8711, with any questions or to sign up.

Saturday Skate and Social (Skating then TYC) — Feb. 11.

Spring Break Camp and March 9 Camp Early Bird Fee Deadline is Feb. 11. Early bird for March 9 is $15 School’s Out Day Camp and Early Bird for Spring Break Camp is $100. Prices go up closer to camp.

Middle School Dance — 7:30 - 10 p.m. Feb. 18. $5.

Scary Movie Night — Feb. 20. High school only.

After School Program — The Teen and Youth Center staff the recreational program to youths in grades K-6. The ASP emphasizes cooperative play, team building, leadership opportunities, homework help, physical activities, outdoor play and crafts of all sorts in a socially rich environment. ASP is 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Take Bus 3 to the TYC. Sign up at the TYC or call 224-5472 for information.

TYC Sports Van availableTYC offers a sports shuttle to transport participants in school sports to the TYC ASP after the sports is at 4:15 p.m. Parents must sign up their child with the TYC by calling 224-5472 or stop by. Registration of five participants is required to run the shuttle.

Archery — 6 - 9 p.m. every Tuesday until March 12 at the railroad terminal. Open shooting with a tournament at the end of the season TBA.

Rock Wall — Noon - 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesdays, 7 - 9 p.m. Fridays and 3:30 - 6 p.m. Saturdays.

Roller Skating — 5:30 - 7 p.m. every Friday night. Adult-Only Skate from 7 - 8 p.m. and Disco Skate (DJ/Lights/Costumes) every second Friday of the month. Saturdays: 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Open Volleyball — 8 - 10 p.m. Fridays.

Open Badminton — 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
