Veteran rep in town Feb. 13
The Itinerant Veteran Employment Representative will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Seward Job Center, 809 Second.
Players take the stage
Port City Players will be on stage performing “Almost, Maine” at 7 p.m. Feb. 10, 11, 17 and 18, and at 3 p.m. Feb. 12 and 19, Resurrect Art Coffee House. The play is set on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. Tickets (Hint: A great Valentine’s gift) are on sale at the coffee house. General admission is $12, and $10 for Seward Arts Council members.
