Marilyn was known for her loving personality, quirky sense of humor and overall caring nature. She was the matriarch of her family and strongly supported her community and country. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sympathy writes:

Dan and Tony:Just want you to know that both your mom and dad were special people to the Egil Ellingsen family. Dad was co-owner of Alaska Scallop Co. Moving to Seward as a teen, your aunt Terri befriended me and was my best friend. I remember your dad as an exceptional fisherman and a very fine man - always upbeat and willing to lend a hand, visiting us even after we moved to Seattle. Your mom was kind, thoughtful and dedicated. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss. She will be very missed.
