William Parks Curtice—December 1954-Oct. 17, 2011

William Parks Curtice was born in Dec. 1954 and died Oct. 17, 2011

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Reginald. He leaves his sister, Amy Owens of Lexington, Kentucky; two nieces, April Pound of Reno Nevada, and Paula Owens of Lexington, Kentucky; and two nephews, Nicolas Owens of Michigan, and David Owens of South Point, Ohio.

Bill was born in San Francisco and worked independently as an aircraft mechanic in California.

He came to Seward in the 1980s where he owned and operated Midnite Engines, a marine and industrial repair and maintenance business.

A highly intelligent, motivated and self-taught person, he built his own house and shop at Bear Lake.

If he decided he wanted to do something he would pick up a book, read about it and learn how to do it.

He liked Jack Daniels, hard work and girls.

Bill will be greatly missed by those who knew him well.

A memorial service is being planned for this coming spring with details to be announced.
